just got back from an ace time in oxford! got the train on tuesday from nuneaton to milton keynes then a bus from milton keynes to oxford. it wasnt too bad and it was nice looking outside cos it had been snowing and everywhere was white (thankfully it wasnt the wrong kind of snow and so the trains hadnt been cancelled!) one bit of advice though, when youre travelling on a train dont listen to a ricky gervais podcast cos if like me, you find him really funny youll get really odd looks from everyone around you when you hear something funny and you laugh out loud then try to turn it into a cough!!!! i dont think it worked!! i arrived ready for rfas celebrations to start. we played some racing demon with his parents while we waited for people to arrive, it was a really good card game, and actually didnt take me that long to pick up for once!! eventually people started to arrive, there were loads of people and i wont remember everyone so im not going to try!! we hung around at rfas for quit

he does exist!!!!

well i now have proof that santa really does exist! i asked for a pony in my stocking thinking that id really baffle him, but lo and behold i looked right to the bottom of my sack yesterday morning and there was one in there! (ok its pink with purple hair and i cant exactly ride it but..........) ITS STILL A PONY!! woohoo! hehe. kids all over the world were right and the adults were wrong! so its up to you, do u believe or not even though the evidence is right infront of you now?! hehe ill leave ya thinking about that one while i go and watch roger rabbit (another documentary about real life!) xxxx

well i cant believe its christmas eve! really doesnt feel like it. no more sleeps still santa now, he'll be here tonight! :-D im still not that excited about it which is a bit of a shame, makes me realise im growing up! argh!! went out last night and 'did' hinckley. it was a wicked night cos i got to see woodlands crew and some of my old mates from high school i knew when i was about 12. we started off in the baron and it was packed, as was everywhere else! the whole of hinckley was out i think! our next stop was the union and then baracuda that had just opened. WOODLANDS GIRLIES! SJ, ME, MICHELLE, MARIA our last stop of the night was flares! as usual! it was packed when we arrived but it quitened down by about 1:30am. its quite cool now cos the late night licence laws, u can stay in the pubs for longer, so can go to the clubs even later and it makes the night go quicker. reading that back i dont think it makes sense but it did in my head!! :-P MICHELLE, ME AND A PO

the rat and parrot now in barwell! (no its not a pub!)

well im back home now to find that barwell isnt quite the same as it was when i left it in september, its turned wild! weve got a rat and a parrot, yes a parrot in our garden!! its crazy! the rat, we're trying to get rid of as i type and the parrot we keep feeding on the bird table! its well pretty, red, green and yellow and sits there for ages! weve had our un-chirstmas day today and santa came a bit early too! aunty beryl goes home tomorrow so we had a practise chrimbo day with her. i cant believe its almost christmas, it really doesnt feel like it is, im not excited about it this year, must be getting old!! saw scary-may today, not seen her since before i went to india two junes ago. it was so nice to catch up again over a sausage cob! we had so much to tell each other. shes been in germany as a dancer and singer in the german version of we will rock you, the queen musical. shes got about 3months left now before she has to find a new job. oh and by the way, incase

happy miss p!!

finally its the last day of term! chrimbo hols here i come! although ill be doing my dissertation for most of it! boo! ive had my really good pressie already this year, a job offer! :-D its with zodiac in london starting in July. im so happy and its perfect cos ill be doing lots of different jobs and will get to travel as well, hopefully to india mainly! yaya! i found out on wed when i went to london and met up about it. it still doesnt really feel like its happeneing and i dead chuffed about it! yaya! thats about it for now. im going home tomorrow so yay! home cooked food! hehe xx

narniaaaaaaa!

just a quickie today. went with rfa and matt-ay to see Narnia last saturdy and it was ace! stuck to the book and tv series really well and was a well spent 3hours. only trouble was the special effects weren't quite what they could have been, some of the blue screens were soo obvious! it was a bit of a shame but didnt ruin the film at all! i was a bit hesitant to see this lastest re-make cos of willy wonka earlier this year (crap!!) but i think with this film i can enjoy both the film and bbc series from when i was little (its out on dvd now dontcha know!! its well good!) im just typing this before i go to uni, got a presentation on my work today-eeek! im not as well prepared for it as i could have been but im sure itll be fine! :-S wish me luck! oh one more thing, every monday ricky gervais is doing a podcast for the guardian. its soo funny, you can download it from here if anyones interested: http://www.guardian.co.uk/rickygervais right well thats it for now, better get go

last tuesday there was a playboy mansion night at the union. all the textile girlies went cos it was a chance for us all to fundraise for our degree show (still need about £7,000 i think, eeek!). we helped to design the set for each 'room' and also sold food, did games and face painting. it was a really fun night and eventhough it was a tuesday night, so not very busy, there was just enough people there to make it fun! ME AS A PLAYBOY BUNNY! ME, RFA AND HIS GROOVY SHIRT! PAUL, BECCA, EMHEN, DAMITH, ME, MARK, KAI i also got to meet up with quite a few people that i hadnt seen for ages, especially mark, so it was nice to catch up a bit, dont think many people recognised me at first! it was quite funny cos i dont usually make that much of an effort when i go out! EMHEN, ME AND NAT NAT not sure how much money we made yet, dont think it was very much but it was nice to have a textile social where everyone got together. on the wednesday em, nat and i went to the clotheshow a

found this over the weekend, as if i need any more distractions from doing uni work! its a publicity poster from virgin records. there are loads of bands in this image and you have to try to name them all. good luck! let me know how you get on! ive managed to find 65 so far. just remember to say what you see garath!! :-P and no rfa - rifles and flowers is not one and neither is white lines! chuh! xx

went to see faithless at nottingham ice arena on saturday night, they were amazing! :-D FAITHLESS - YEAH BABY!! we were in the seating bit at the back but we still made sure there was space to dance!! they did all their hits, starting with "isomnia" (i cant get no sleep) and the crowd went mad! it was a really cool atmosphere and everyone was jumping around and singing along. they performed for about 2hours and played mass destruction, bring my family back, god is a dj, i want more, why go, etc. FANTASTIC LIGHT SHOW!! the lights were brilliant and helped with the atmosphere! good thing i wasnt epileptic though, cos they were going crazy! dad would have been impressed!! THE CROWD the other really good track to get the crowd going was "we come one. " its the first gig ive been to where EVERYONE was dancing along and enjoying themselves. i went with rfa, rikster, big dave, steph, liam and suze and i think they all enjoyed it too! after the gig we went to

had THE BEST weekend last week. Slink, Niall, Matt-ay, Becky, rfa and I all went to rock night in Echos! Yes i actually got slink and niall in 'chos! hehe. it was for a textiles social for our degree show fund but not many people turned up, its not really their thing (they prefer fnd i think! :-S) started off at lloyds for a few warm up drinks and also it was so flipping cold outside that we needed a stop off on the way to warm up before ending up in echos! played a few drinking games and then moved on. it was really dead when we got to 'chos and to make matters worse, the white room was closed (they play all the punk, ska and metal in there) so we stood around with franz ferdinand and the killers for a bit and then after about an hour they opened up the other room (thankfully!). we requested system and had a good old jump around to that! Bumped into Damith and his 'crew' so it ended up being quite a big group of us! we moved into the main room at 2:30am for t

wow! what a busy weekend! ive just about recovered now! friday - i took the day off from uni and went to meet cess and fan for the start of our india reunion. it was so weird, but so nice to see them in lufbra! we had so much fun catching up! had a bit of a boogie on my dancemat, looked at some india photos and then i showed them around campus. had a yummy burger at ehb and moved onto the studio. came home and got ready for sam and anna arriving. they arrived about 7.30/8ish and we started on the cheeky vimtos (port and wkd blue (yuck!))! seeing as it was sam's birthday we had arranged a sort of surprise meal at curryholics. it was sam, anna, rfa, rikster, matt, stacey, matt2y, sarah and me. the food was amazing with loads of flavour, the only trouble was that when they brought out the huge chocolate birthday cake that stacey had brought we couldnt mange any of it!! our taxis arrived and we went to fnd, thankfully the que wasnt too long although i nearly got into a fi

roll up roll up the fairs in town!!!

had a wicked night last night. woodlands crew (aka rew and sanj) came over and we went to lufbra fair! started off on the waltzers (woohoo!), then onto extreme, crazy shake, magic mouse rollercoaster, a round one that you sit inside a big circle while it spins and goes upside down and i got hit by something metal!!) and the big tower one where it shoots you up into the air and then you drop. Think thats about it for rides but cant really remember! the tower one was horrible cos i really hate heights and it held us at the top for absolutely ages i was screaming "get me off this ride!!" (thats a slightly cleaner version of what i was saying but hey!!) i was not a happy camper! we stayed up there for far too long and then it dropped us to the ground. i carried on screaming and screaming untill i got off that one! argh! the trouble was all the rides cost around £3 each, so we couldnt really afford to go on anymore. we went to the GB for a drink or two and played giant guinness je

'mind the gap'

had a busy busy day yesterday, went off to london for a 'careers in retail show.' it started at 8:30am so i thought id get down there early incase it was a big show, dad had been to olympia before and said it was huge. so i set off at 6:15am and after delays etc on the train i got there about 9:30. the delays werent really a problem though cos it ended up with me being in first class on the way down! the ticket only cost me £13 for a single and i just assumed it was in standard class untill it went out over the tannoy that coach J was 1st class! usually i dont bother to find the seat that i reserved but i though i really should do this time! it was so good! big comfy seats, i got FREE tea and coffe at every station in a chine mug and with a silver spoon! there was free food and 'The Times' to read, i felt really common reading my good old metro that id picked up from the station!! i lso turned down the music on my ipod just incase it was a bit too loud! id nev

pj ma' eyes!

just put byker grove on, got really excited, not watched it in aaaages! but wow was the acting bad! its distroyed my image of byker grove ive always had, i used to love it so much! i could possibly say the acting was worse than hollyoaks! at least theres a LITTLE bit of emotion in their acting! byker byker bkyer bkyer bkyer grove, yeah! ah ha ah ha! xx

hey ewe, yes ewe!

Image
rfa, michelle and i at hey ewe. Had an ace time with michelle, it was so much fun to see her! we had a girly time getting ready to go out which i dont really get the chance to do much seeing as i live with guys! so made the most of it! hehe. matt, matt2ie, nat, becca, amy and helen all came round for warm up drinks before heading off the the union. it was quite funny actually cos none of those people that came round actually went out afterwards! we'd heard that the union que was too long so we went to lloyds first, it was really empty so got a table without any problems and played some really funny drinking games! 'gear change 1-2-3-4!' hehe. we decided to risk the union and got there about 11:30, there wasnt any line at all and so walked straight in. had a wander around and bumped into damith, anant, tom, jim and tesh. had a boogie with them in cognito and then went into room one for a proper dance on the big dance floor. it felt so good to get out and about again, not had

sorry mate you're not getting in!

Image
matt the bouncer has returned! cheers for the photos matt! ah the good old days at rock night! not sure whats happening to rock night at the union, its not the same anymore, they always have a live band on now and so that means you have to pay to get in! *shock gasp!* rock night used to be the cheap(er) night out! gonna have to go to one soon though! speaking of going out, michelle's coming over this afternoon, cant wait to see her! :-D gonna have a good old chin wag and then have a few drinkie poos at our with some of my mates and finally end up in hey ewe. coolio! not been out in AAAAAAAGES! need to dance! partay! studio work's going well, i was dyeing all day yesterday, my fingers refelct this today cos my nails and all around them are black! i look flithy! eew! at least i got it all out of that way, i hate dyeing, its hot and smelly in the little room and all the annoying 2nd years come in and spill stuff and leave all the dirty pots everywhere! g

are you dancin? are you askin? well i'm askin! then i'm dancin!

the words of a great philosopher above (jade goody!!!). the reason for this?! well ive just treated myself to a dance mat! hehe! it came through the post yesterday morning and i got it out today and have been jumping around for most of the day! i even got rfa and rikster on it at one point! hehe. the reason for buying it is that i wanna get some exercise and i thought this would be the best way to do it. well its worked so far! have to see if im still using it in a week or two! another thing ive been doing this week is badminton. rfa and i have been about 3 times this week, im getting better, its a good job really seeing as the first time i went with him i stood still and waited for the shuttlecock to come to me!! oops! went out and bought some dettol the other day for my ears where they were pierced a while ago. the only trouble was that i put it on neat, without diluting it! needless to say it stung just a little bit and now all the skin is flaking! whoops! hehe! t

tricky, ktp and rfa in nottingham. mmm cheeky vimto!!! hehe well, my presentation with becca went really well, it was the most unprepared ive ever been for a talk and it went much better than ones ive practised for before i think! im modest me! :-P it was really nice to talk about india to people who are maybe interested in going out next year, and letting them know all about the ups and downs (mainly ups!). friday was our course social at 'wild' aka pulse! (just give it another name and hope that noone notices its still pulse!) although ive not been in there yet, hopefully theyve got rid of the sticky floors and sick smell! :-S ill give them the benefit of the doubt for now! i was supposed to go and was quite looking forward to it, that was untill all of my mates pulled out so i had noone to go with. i could have still gone and seen people off my course but i really didnt feel like it after that cos it was supposed to be a fun night out with all my mates not doing textiles as

neighbours everybody needs good neighbours.......

well first of all id like to say: HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY NEIGHBOURS!!!!!! almost didnt go into the studio today so i could watch the various tv specials and interviews! but i did resist the temptation (and recorded it instead!!!! :-S) hehe. works going really well, enjoying my project at last! actually been in the studio from 9-5 monday AND tuesday!! not bad! the future fabrics symposium was very interesting but tiring, i got back from lincolnshire about 8pm and was at fnd by 9pm! hard core! didnt stay long cos the fire alarm went off and everyone had to evacuate, grr! staurday - had a chillaxing day and then ventured into nottingham with matt, matt2ie, sarah, rikster and rfa. we went to spoons and lloyds then ended up in media, a wicked nightclub, i was well impressed! stayed there till 2am, while we were there i wandered off and took loads of photos for my new project, they look cool and im dead chuffed that i can do 'research' as well as going out and having an ace night! i

moaning minnie!

thats me alright. i feel dead sorry for rfa and rikster having to put up with me over the past week. ive really struggled with this stupid project amongst other things and so today i finally decided to completely change my direction! 'off the beaten track' has been rejected big time, im now doing lots of bright wacky colours and patterns to do with lighting both man made and natural (i.e clubbing (an excuse to go out and 'study'!!) and lightning). ive only been doing it half a day and im already really liking it! phew! was starting to get worried about never having any inspiration again! im also on the textile committee for our final degree show which is quite cool. we have to raise £45,000 in 3 years so that we can take our degree show from lufbra to london for potential employers to see. dont think the fundraising is going too badly, my 'non-steps month' in my first year sponsorship money will definately help to contribute to this! seems like ages ag

rfa managed to capture this image of the very rare 'ktp' she was seen at bradgate park with a camera fixed to her face and also being 'beaten up' by a mr swarbrick. no need for alarm though apparently she deserved it! chuh! seeing as its been so long since i posted, you'd think ive been busy well you'd be....wrong! ive not really been into the studio much, ive not got much inspiration for this project. the heading is 'off the beaten track.' its a bit lame and so thats why i went to bradgate park on wednesday to try to get some good photos. rfa drove me there and we were only supposed to be there for about an hour, 2hours later we left with lots of photos and bruises. we were playing a stupid game where if u get the other person to look at a circle uve made with ur fingers (see below) u can punch that person. well i was pretty crap at the game and so paid for it with 2 very sore arms! chuh! thatll learn me i guess! haha made you look! :-P went

ktp the finalist

well i start uni tomorrow, back to the studio, back to the grindstone! im a finalist! nooooo! makes me sound well old, i seem to be one of the only ones graduating this year out of my mates which is weird, most people have got at least another year left. everyones moved back in now and im no longer a loner in the cos house rfa and rikster are here which is nice. had ross, mat and matta2ie here tonight for a chinese, was really nice to catch up. yet agin i had loads to say when i logged on but i really cant remember any of it now! last friday i went to FND (friday night disco) at the union with nat, leon, garry, steve and andy, it was a good laugh and would have been great if it wasnt for the freshers! grrr! hehe they all look about 10yrs old, i know i was like that once but surely wasnt as annoying?!?! :-P it was like a club 18-30s holiday! saw sarah cox from radio one, she was the dj for a bit of the night and was ok, nothing amazing! went on the dancefloor for a bit but it was

the ktp trip to india fund/charity thingy, donations gratefully accepted!

spoke to paul (from cosmo) yesterday on the phone, it was really nice to chat and i caught up with whats been going on. i still miss everyone lots and lots so ive decided to start up 'the ktp trip to india fund/charity thingy' so if anyone wants to help a poor student visit her friends in a far off land, donations would be more than appreciated! hehe! and im not joking! tonight im having a nice peaceful night in and its lovely! got a really snotty cold at the moment and feel a bit rough so trying to just take it easy and chillax! mmm! gonna watch lost later on, its such a good show, i love it! i can enjoy it even more now as well cos ive just finished my dissertation! yeah baby! so not gotta worry about that now either! *phew* today all the freshers started to move into lufbra. they all looked so young and scared! bless them. they were walking around with all their stuff moving into the halls and their parents followed behind looking just as scared! cant belie

had such a wicked last few days! after i posted on saturday i went out with nat and met 2 of her housemates for next year, garry and leon. they were really cool and we had an ace time in lloyds and 'chos! sunday nat went home, i met up wth paul, ant, tom, hannah and charlotte and then went to meet leon and garry again, played darts which id never done before, had quite a few fluky shots! hehe! i then went out for ONE drink, unfortunately i didnt specify what size drink and we all got a pitcher of monkey reef and drank that! i was about to go home when i was persuaded to go to lloyds (it didnt take much persuasion!) and we had another drink. got home about 12:30am, was supposed to be a short drink! oopsie! rfa and his dad had come up so i sat chatting to them for a bit and then crashed on my bed. today i met up with slink in nottingham. it was so much fun, hadnt seen her since chrimbo. went to the pitt and pendulum and caught up and then pottered round town for a bit b

the 'g' word

yes i had a leaflet through the post today talking about graduation! argh! scary to think that ill be graduating from lufbra in less than a year! feels like ive been here for years (well 5 to be precise)! i moved into lufbra properly today so im sitting in my cold student house (too cheapskate and lazy to turn on the boiler!) trying to fit all of my stuff into my room. its much bigger than i thought and my walk-in wardrobe is fantastic! hehe! i only have 25 pairs of shoes with me and 17 bags, im slacking! last night was, erm, interesting! we were home by 11:30pm, grrr hinckley sucks! wont go into details but just grrr! i hate bouncers and policemen! hehe! ive updated my photoblog with some old photos i found lingering around on my pooter, some of you might enjoy looking through them! thats it for now, just about to go and meet nat bitty and go out and about in lufbra! the terrible two are back in town!! xxxx

new and exclusive designer brands!

well im busy writing my dissertation from my year in industry at the moment. I was checking what it says on the BTPL website yesterday and under the list of clients they have emporio Rmarni and tommy HILFINGER! hmm! not sure if these are new and exclusive designers ive never heard of, the cheapo rip off version or just a spelling mistake! hehe made me giggle anyway! as well as writing my dissertation im also watching 'pimp my ride' on mtv, theyre taking crappy cars and making them even crappier! stop it with the body kits, stupid sound systems and glittery paint! argh!!! im off out tonight with the woodlands crew! yaya! not seen them all since i got back yet so cant wait to see them! partay in hinckley! :-S eek! ill write more later depending on whether i survive late night hinckley! wish me luck!! better get back to my indian lunch now.........SUPER NOODLES!! hehe xxxx

tonight i feel like a tiger!

RARRRR! hehe. thats what one of the guys in reel big fish kept saying last night! the gig was ace! i loved it! dave actually admitted that i knew more songs than him which is a first i think!! they did 2 of my favourite songs their cover of 'take on me' which always makes me scream when i hear the first chord of it! its an automatic reaction! the other song was 'dateless losers' i love the chorus 'we are the dateless losers, lonely until we die, so unappreciated, why why why why?!' hehe. they did a few songs from their new album, which i got today but it was mainly all the older ones that i know and love! so i sang/shouted along while dave stood with his arms folded (its not cool to look impressed apparently! so i was looking seriously uncool!!!!). im still really happy from the gig, i was so excited! we missed the first support act cos we were in pizza hut, the 2nd group were called 'skinjury' they came on saying 'do you like punk? *crowd screams*

an indian reunion in france!

what a wicked weekend! i left zodiac on friday afternoon, i was quite sad to leave cos id had a great time! caught the train to waterloo and met anna in the eurostar cafe, she'd dyed her hair and turned into a brunette and i almost didnt recognise her! it looks so nice though, makes me want to get on with dyeing my hair again! got to calais frethun and waited for fan, meanwhile i called emhen to find out where she was and it turned out she was at the wrong station and had had a little bit of french plonk! hehe! we eventually all met up anna, emhen, fan, geraldine and i and went to fan's holiday home in a little village called Wissant. the house was lovely and we sat down with bread, cheese, french sausage, wine and beer and caught up on all the gossip and thought about the good old days in bangalore! the next morning we went for a loooong walk on the beach! the weather was lovely and we could see dover! there were people kitesurfing, windsurfing, jogging and swmming

i may be missing india too much!

well its my last day at work today. :-( ive really enjoyed it actually! got one more visit this morning to see another buyer and then im off to france! woohoo! cant wait to see all my girlies! :-) got an email from srinath this morning: You may be missing India, when you ...... ....Re-wire all the lights in your house and insert a random selector .....Start washing your clothes in the local river -id forgotten how amazing washing machines and tumble dryers were so i dout ill be going back to this one! .....Start commuting to work on the roof of the train -it nearly came to this today! .....Start sucking aniseed so you can spit on the wall in the yard .....Put a 'Horn OK' bumper sticker on your car and blast horn every 3 seconds .....Re-wire the bathroom to leave all the cables exposed .....Start peeing in your sink .....Set the farmers cows free to roam the streets .....Open a market stall to sell used false teeth. .....when at Starbucks, you get a second, empty

well and truely cream crackered!

im sooo tired at the moment! still loving work though! ive been sitting in on meetings with clients yesterday and today and its all very interesting. yesterday was great cos we were on oxford street and after our meeting it was time to go home so instead of going home straight away i visited schuh! hehe. i did end up trying on 5 pairs of shoes, i only came out with one pair though thankfully! can you believe that out of all my shoes i own, i dont have one pair of comfy work shoes so i decided to invest in a pair! they are very nice and actually fairly sensible! wow! hehe! only got 2 more days left at work now, its shame, id liked to have worked there a bit longer but a week's given me a taster! at least i can have loads of lie ins next week! cant wait! hehe! not really with it tonight, bit like a zombie so i think im off to bed! *yawn* nighty night! xxxx

just finished my first day of captain kirk and no need for any ducking and diving!

well 1st day of work's over. it went well and they all seem a nice bunch of people. wasnt too hard to get from where im staying in woking to mortlake either. off to visit topman tomorrow i think then some other visits from various companies during the week. i couldnt concentrate very well knowing that the last day of the cricket was on. noone in the office was that bothered about it either so i only caught the score every half hour when the news came on! incase you hadnt heard WE WON! hehe. really wanted to watch it but just seen the highlights on the tv which wasnt as good but never mind! came back to aunty dels house tonight to find them dogsitting. shes a really cute brown labrador, very jumpy and has a liking for yoghurt! i walked in and she stole one of my shoes off my feet as i was walking (theyd been hurting me all day though so i didnt mind them being taken off me!) then when i was having my tea i had to leave a bit of yogurt in the pot so that she could lick it

hi ho hi ho its off to work i go

im off down to london this afternoon ready to start work on monday with zodiac. im dead excited, cant wait! not too sure what ill be doing exactly but itll be good experience and at least ill get some money! yaya! hehe. next friday im off the france to visit miss fan and some others from the india crew, should be ace! so a good week is looming! maybe even get a chance to shop in london sometime in the week! hmmmm! my wages might not last that long actually!! yesterday we went on ashby canal for the day. we had some americans coming to visit the uk and we said we'd help them get settled on the narrow boats. it was so relaxing and brought back memories of the backwaters in kerela (a very loose connection but there was one!). the only downside was the grotty weather, it drizzled all day (it was that fine stuff that soaks you through!) but didnt dampen anyones spirits. we did the typical tour guide thing and took them to bosworth battlefield and then into market bosworth for a pub me

forget RolaCola, top of the pops is the official crap pop!

its true. i can see why its moved to sunday night (not sure how long its been on a sunday but it was news to me!) it was really poor. i used to love totp and all the cheesy pop stuff etc but i watched it last night and it was painful! couldnt switch it off cos i thought it must get better at some point but no, it didnt! the only good bit was gorillaz being number one! anyway rant done, i always seem to start my blog with a grumble at the mo, sorry! saturday i went to windsor and had quite a nice day. shopped for a bit and went on the open top bus. i also got to see 3 mates i hadnt seen since chrimbo-caz, helen and qyan. had a good catch up and a giggle. ive almost seen all my mates now since getting back, only a few more to go! on the way home i got an invite from damith to go out in lufbra again! so of course i said yes, got changed in 10min then was back out again to boogie the night away. i need to be careful cos soon im gonna be seen as a regular in 'Chos! the em

cosmo is a'callin!

well i did the 2nd day of the carboot and ended up getting a total of £110 over the 2 days! was dead chuffed! more of my bags sold too which i was happy about! also the weather was perfect so lots of people were out and i got a bit more of a tan! last night i went to my belated birthday and welcome home party at michelles house. it was really nice and i got to catch up with maria, keira and sj, some of my mates from high school who i dont get to see very often. we had a good time and reminisced about the good ol' days and all our old teachers! hehe! tonight i had a suprise call from everyone at cosmo. unfortunately i was in the hottub when they called so missed them, but they left a very noisey but funny voicemail! it was becca and em's last night in cosmo before coming home. cant believe theyre still out there! so jealous! chuh! managed to chat to seamus and michael later on though, i really enjoyed the conversations with them, argh i want another night in cosmo

well im finally 21 ! hasnt really seemed like my birthday but then again it never does! its the same with christmas, you get all excited for the actual day then when it comes its just like an ordinary day!! not having a party or anything cos ive been seeing all my mates in smaller groups to catch up with although ive still not seen everyone yet. its just been mum, dad and me today which was nice. quite relaxing. we went to borders and ikea!! (not very exciting but hey im getting old now so gotta do older, more boring, less exciting activities!!) hehe! yesterday anna and claire came over, had a really good giggle and catch up. had a bbq and went in the hottub after going to watch barwell carnival. it was a bit of a let down this year not many floats, either that or im getting to old to enjoy it as much!! (ill be all grouchy and shout at little kids next!! :-S) not really much more to add. but oh yeah....... ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! hehe (incase u didnt get that message!) xxx

just a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down......

mum and dad came back today so i had to make sure that all my rubbish was actually cleared away ready for their arrival! i really wanted julie andrews to turn up and help me with the cleaning by clicking her fingers and everything clearing itself! good old mary poppins, i love that film! but alas she was no where in sight so i had to do it all myself! chuh! i can actually see my carpet, first time since being back!! oops! sorted out all my photos ready to put them into albums too. i hadnt realised quite HOW many i had! i knew it was alot! :-S i've edited the pile so that itll only fill about 100 volumes now! :-P (bet everyone reading this cant wait to meet up with me when ive finished them! :-S) hehe! had a good night last night in lufbra again. met up with lizzibeth, becky, laura, amiee (lauras mate) and paul. it rained really badly but we still trudged our way round the bars looking like drowned rats all the same! i was the only one to have brought an umbrella w

byker, byker, byker, grove yeah! ahha ahha ahha.....

cant sleep so thought id inform you of what ive been up to! had a nice few days in sunderland and newcastle. did a bit of walking, some sightseeing and visited quite a few shops (especially the metro centre!)! not sure what was wrong with me but i didnt find anything i liked in topshop *shock gasp* but i saw lots of shoes that i wanted in schuh (oh dear!). maybe my conscience is finally kicking in and my purse strings are tightening?! one thing i did still love about being up north was the geordie accent! mmm! hehe! too many chavs but if you closed your eyes they all sounded great! came home today. had a very smooth journey - caught the train at newcastle, when i got to derby the next one was waiting, then the same happened in leicester and when i walked from hinckley station to get the bus that was also waiting! not bad eh?! i was then supposed to blitz my room cos it was a tip ready for michelle to stay for the night, instead i got distracted on the internet and ended up piling eve

echos - lufbra or london standard?! you decide!!

well im back in barwell now but yet again only a brief stop, im off up north tomorrow to visit my aunty untill wednesday! lufbra was ace! got my room ready it looks very indian now! sam and i went for an indian meal (my first proper one since getting back, it was very good, had peshwari nan! mmmmm!). i got a drunken phone call from seamus who was in cosmo with nat, em and becca, got to chat to danny too which was nice! rikster, anna and andy came about 9pmish and we had quite a quiet night in catching up with all the gossip. on saturday went into the town and found out that lufbra now has a topshop AND pizza hut! wow! rfa, dave and ben came in the afternoon and we debated over whether to risk a bbq with the weather being as dodgy as it was. there a quick break in the clouds so we all rushed up to sainos and got the food and booze etc and lit the bbq. it then rained again but not for long so we carried on cooking. john, dan and aiden (dans housemate) came over at 11pm and w

ou est le hot water?!

well im back but not for long, im off to lufbra again tomorrow morning to start my 21st birthday celebrations (although im not really 21 untill the 21st but ah well need time to celebrate!!) paris was really good fun apart from there being no hot water for a day and a bit in our hotel, but seeing as im used to cold showers in bommasandra it didnt bother me all that much! also the food was very expensive the words "c'est un rip off" could be heard quite a few times at various restaurants but appart from that we did all we wanted to see and shopped as much as our bags would allow! (luckily i was just travelling with a backpack so it could have been alot worse!). we saw the eiffel tower (it sparkles at 10pm and 11pm which was nice!), notre dame, arc de triomphe, walked down the Champs Élysée, etc but the best bit was going to the moulin rouge! ooh lala! it was brill although they didnt do much of the cancan which was a shame, plus you only got one glass of champagne co

wedges + moshing = very sore knee!
