rabbit, rabbit, rabbit!

last tuesday there was a playboy mansion night at the union. all the textile girlies went cos it was a chance for us all to fundraise for our degree show (still need about £7,000 i think, eeek!). we helped to design the set for each 'room' and also sold food, did games and face painting. it was a really fun night and eventhough it was a tuesday night, so not very busy, there was just enough people there to make it fun!

i also got to meet up with quite a few people that i hadnt seen for ages, especially mark, so it was nice to catch up a bit, dont think many people recognised me at first! it was quite funny cos i dont usually make that much of an effort when i go out!

not sure how much money we made yet, dont think it was very much but it was nice to have a textile social where everyone got together.

on the wednesday em, nat and i went to the clotheshow at the NEC in birmingham. it was so much fun and i spent quite a bit! ah well never mind! hehe. my biggest bargain of the day was a pair of boots reduced from £125 to £30! :-D i dont think anyone except me likes them but i dont care, im the one who has to wear them!! ill post a photo of them soon! and i can get everyones oppinion! i also got 2 jackets, a jumper, socks and pants, 2 belts, a bag (surprise surprise!) and a wallet. i think thats it, cant really remeber! we got there at 10:30am and left at 6:30pm, it was a looooong day but really fun and the catwalk show was ace as usual! got a bit lost on the way home cos i told em to go off the motorway a junction too early but we everntually got back, thankfully!

not really got much else planned, we are hopefully going to see Narnia tomorrow and then bowling gotta call up and check if i can get some tickets. thats about it for now, need to get on with my dissertation! :-S oops!
