are you dancin? are you askin? well i'm askin! then i'm dancin!

the words of a great philosopher above (jade goody!!!). the reason for this?! well ive just treated myself to a dance mat! hehe! it came through the post yesterday morning and i got it out today and have been jumping around for most of the day! i even got rfa and rikster on it at one point! hehe. the reason for buying it is that i wanna get some exercise and i thought this would be the best way to do it. well its worked so far! have to see if im still using it in a week or two! another thing ive been doing this week is badminton. rfa and i have been about 3 times this week, im getting better, its a good job really seeing as the first time i went with him i stood still and waited for the shuttlecock to come to me!! oops! went out and bought some dettol the other day for my ears where they were pierced a while ago. the only trouble was that i put it on neat, without diluting it! needless to say it stung just a little bit and now all the skin is flaking! whoops! hehe! t

tricky, ktp and rfa in nottingham. mmm cheeky vimto!!! hehe well, my presentation with becca went really well, it was the most unprepared ive ever been for a talk and it went much better than ones ive practised for before i think! im modest me! :-P it was really nice to talk about india to people who are maybe interested in going out next year, and letting them know all about the ups and downs (mainly ups!). friday was our course social at 'wild' aka pulse! (just give it another name and hope that noone notices its still pulse!) although ive not been in there yet, hopefully theyve got rid of the sticky floors and sick smell! :-S ill give them the benefit of the doubt for now! i was supposed to go and was quite looking forward to it, that was untill all of my mates pulled out so i had noone to go with. i could have still gone and seen people off my course but i really didnt feel like it after that cos it was supposed to be a fun night out with all my mates not doing textiles as

neighbours everybody needs good neighbours.......

well first of all id like to say: HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY NEIGHBOURS!!!!!! almost didnt go into the studio today so i could watch the various tv specials and interviews! but i did resist the temptation (and recorded it instead!!!! :-S) hehe. works going really well, enjoying my project at last! actually been in the studio from 9-5 monday AND tuesday!! not bad! the future fabrics symposium was very interesting but tiring, i got back from lincolnshire about 8pm and was at fnd by 9pm! hard core! didnt stay long cos the fire alarm went off and everyone had to evacuate, grr! staurday - had a chillaxing day and then ventured into nottingham with matt, matt2ie, sarah, rikster and rfa. we went to spoons and lloyds then ended up in media, a wicked nightclub, i was well impressed! stayed there till 2am, while we were there i wandered off and took loads of photos for my new project, they look cool and im dead chuffed that i can do 'research' as well as going out and having an ace night! i

moaning minnie!

thats me alright. i feel dead sorry for rfa and rikster having to put up with me over the past week. ive really struggled with this stupid project amongst other things and so today i finally decided to completely change my direction! 'off the beaten track' has been rejected big time, im now doing lots of bright wacky colours and patterns to do with lighting both man made and natural (i.e clubbing (an excuse to go out and 'study'!!) and lightning). ive only been doing it half a day and im already really liking it! phew! was starting to get worried about never having any inspiration again! im also on the textile committee for our final degree show which is quite cool. we have to raise £45,000 in 3 years so that we can take our degree show from lufbra to london for potential employers to see. dont think the fundraising is going too badly, my 'non-steps month' in my first year sponsorship money will definately help to contribute to this! seems like ages ag

rfa managed to capture this image of the very rare 'ktp' she was seen at bradgate park with a camera fixed to her face and also being 'beaten up' by a mr swarbrick. no need for alarm though apparently she deserved it! chuh! seeing as its been so long since i posted, you'd think ive been busy well you'd be....wrong! ive not really been into the studio much, ive not got much inspiration for this project. the heading is 'off the beaten track.' its a bit lame and so thats why i went to bradgate park on wednesday to try to get some good photos. rfa drove me there and we were only supposed to be there for about an hour, 2hours later we left with lots of photos and bruises. we were playing a stupid game where if u get the other person to look at a circle uve made with ur fingers (see below) u can punch that person. well i was pretty crap at the game and so paid for it with 2 very sore arms! chuh! thatll learn me i guess! haha made you look! :-P went

ktp the finalist

well i start uni tomorrow, back to the studio, back to the grindstone! im a finalist! nooooo! makes me sound well old, i seem to be one of the only ones graduating this year out of my mates which is weird, most people have got at least another year left. everyones moved back in now and im no longer a loner in the cos house rfa and rikster are here which is nice. had ross, mat and matta2ie here tonight for a chinese, was really nice to catch up. yet agin i had loads to say when i logged on but i really cant remember any of it now! last friday i went to FND (friday night disco) at the union with nat, leon, garry, steve and andy, it was a good laugh and would have been great if it wasnt for the freshers! grrr! hehe they all look about 10yrs old, i know i was like that once but surely wasnt as annoying?!?! :-P it was like a club 18-30s holiday! saw sarah cox from radio one, she was the dj for a bit of the night and was ok, nothing amazing! went on the dancefloor for a bit but it was
