the exhibitionist strikes back

had a lovely day today. just spent it wandering round old london town with my slr taking photos. i've never really done that before but it was great cos i ended up getting stuck in the middle of a procession for chinese new year with dragons and drums etc, then walked down to trafalgar square, past horse guards parade, 10 downing street, big ben, over the river, past the london eye, down leake street to look at the grafitti, along southbank to watch the pretty skateboarders and bmx-ers, over the river to covent garden then got the bus home! it was so cold today but dead sunny with clear blue skies so i got some great shots. i made sure i caught the bus so i could enjoy more of the sunshine and as i was going down kings road i ended up spotting the saatchi gallery and went and had a cultured walk round there! i didn't exactly get everything on display but it was nice to walk round an art gallery again. i'm looking forward to tomorrow as well cos the weather's supp

little miss jet setter

Well I am officially a jet-setter! I went to Barcelona with work for the day on Friday! I went to a trade fair called Bread & Butter to see what was going on for A/W 2009/10. It all seemed good fun and glam to be popping off to Spain on my own to have a look around, that was until my alarm went off at 4:45am and some choice words came out of my mouth that I can’t type on here! The taxi picked me up to take me to Heathrow, this was all a blur really! We arrived at Terminal 1 and I was evil! So so tired which isn’t good for me as most of you will know!! I was a right grumpy guts and it was a good job I was travelling on my own if I hadn’t have been I would have been disowned I think! There were no signs for the BA desk so had to ask and it was in a separate room and then couldn’t find the departure and security gates. It’s so badly signposted. I then went and waited at Costa coffee for way too long, there were about 20 people in front of me and only 1 person serving while another 4

little rant then i calm down....honnest!!

How can cinemas charge so much to see a film but still have the worst toilets?! every cinema i go to they smell, are dirty, no loo roll, the list is endless. we're paying £7/£8 a time to go and see a film and they can't even keep a place clean?! grr it annoys me so much! thankfully i no longer pay these stupid prices to see a film cos i've now got an unlimited card for cineworld. it's ace! £11.99 a month and you can go and see as many films as you want, any time of the day and any cineworld cinema in the uk! bargain! i got it at the start of the month and so did adam, so now, every time we're at a loose end we end up going to see a film, which is great fun cos you end up seeing more than you normally would. i used to be unwilling to fork out a fortune to see a film that might not be any good but now it doesn't matter and i can even walk out if it's that bad!! the only downside to this is you think 'well seeing as i didn't pay to get in i'

the best feeling in the world.....

i've just discovered it again....stretching out your legs and your toes finding a cold spot in the bed! mmm! i've been wearing socks in bed for the past few weeks cos the cold spots have just been too cold at night but last night i took them off and stretched out fully and was reminded of that lovely feeling! it's almost as good as finding a cold spot on your pillow! ah i wish i was back in bed now.... xxx

time flies when you're having fun....

and that fact above was proved on braniac so it must be true! anyway back to the point......i've been with adam 2 years today! yay! :D i can't believe it. it seems like only yesterday he was taking me to the theatre on our first date and now 2 years down the line we're off to the theatre again. this time to see La Clique. i've checked on the website quite thoroughly and so far can't see any clowns so hopefully there won't be any otherwise i won't be impressed!! :S so you'll have to excuse me if i seem a bit loved up today! soppy or what?! xxx

jive bunny here i come!

well i'm feeling a bit more chipper now! just had to get that little rant out and because if it i now think i've managed to find some jive classes in central london so soon i'll be the social butterfly once more! :) xxx

i'll be missing you.....

well it's not my usual jolly miss p post today i'm affraid. i think i've got the januray blues. i seem to be missing everyone now i'm back in london. i miss mum & dad, school mates, uni mates, india mates....you get the message. i had so much fun over chrimbo seeing loads of people and catching up that it went way to quick and didn't want it to end. can't believe it's all over now for another year. where did it go?! it's great living in london in the hustle and bustle but sometimes the place can seem a bit lonely. maybe it's time to see what classes i can join to meet new people? oh and did i mention they need to be free as well?! i don't want much! :P well hopefully my next blog will be a bit happier.........i really am turning into an emo!!! xxx

back to the grindstone...well just for a day!

You know when you’ve decided to go back to work too early when the METRO (the free paper on the trains) hasn’t even started up again after the hols. Boo! Luckily I had my book with me otherwise who knows what would have happened I might have actually had to look around at other Londoners and acknowledge my surroundings! Eek scary stuff! I was all looking forward to going back to work. Well actually I wasn’t that excited but I’d got myself in a nice positive mood and was ready for anything. That was everything up until 9:27am when I was so stressed already that I thought I would burst! Ah well the time off over chrimbo and new year has already been long forgotten and in the past! :S At least I’m only working today then got 2 more days off before having to start with a proper week of work. NYE was good fun. Adam and I went to a pub near him with some of his mates and we drank the night away! Yoink! I did manage to have a bit of a boogie to Macarena and Saturday Night with Lisa (Ash’s
