tricky, ktp and rfa in nottingham. mmm cheeky vimto!!! hehewell, my presentation with becca went really well, it was the most unprepared ive ever been for a talk and it went much better than ones ive practised for before i think! im modest me! :-P it was really nice to talk about india to people who are maybe interested in going out next year, and letting them know all about the ups and downs (mainly ups!).
friday was our course social at 'wild' aka pulse! (just give it another name and hope that noone notices its still pulse!) although ive not been in there yet, hopefully theyve got rid of the sticky floors and sick smell! :-S ill give them the benefit of the doubt for now! i was supposed to go and was quite looking forward to it, that was untill all of my mates pulled out so i had noone to go with. i could have still gone and seen people off my course but i really didnt feel like it after that cos it was supposed to be a fun night out with all my mates not doing textiles as well. humph. instead rfa and i walked to blockbuster, got 4 videos, a bag of peanut m&ms, popcorn, doritos and coke! oops hehe! we watched team america! its soo funny but soo un-PC! hehe. 'dacca dacca dacca' (ull get that if uve seen it, plus its the only quote i can remember thats not too rude to type!!!) cheered me up anyway!
saturday i went shopping with becca, i got some odds and sods plus a bargain hoodie for £18 that i spent the rest of the day customising! im dead chuffed with it actually! in the evening it was annats bday so we popped round there to say hi and have a few drinkie poos. at about 9pm becca and i had to pop back and sort summit out at hers and ended up buying a bottle of wine, pizza and a big bar of dairy milk and watched bride and predudice at my house! we sat down ready to watch the movie with the wine glasses id dug out of the back of the cupboard and then realised we had no bottle opener so ended up pushing the cork back down into the bottle! we're classy birds! it was a good job em wasnt with us! shed have cringed! hehe! still tasted fine though apart from having to fish out the bits of cork from our glasses!!
another thing i did this weekend was to finally finish the india movie cd! yaya! the preview will be in a couple of weeks time when we have another india reunion in lufbra! :-) hehe.
just watched another of our 4 rented videos, this time it was finding neverland. it was really good actually but me being my usual soppy self blubbed through the last part of it! *sniff!* only 2 more vids to go and we can get some more, hopefully without all the junk food crap this time!! :-S
right well thinks thats enough of an update for now!
