Stolen Ice Cream - REWARD

We were walking along Weymouth beach (yes me, on a beach, sand between my toes & everything, impressive huh?!) when there was a sudden flap of wings & before we knew it Adam's hand which was only minutes before clutching a 99 ice cream was empty. Not even a crumb left! The last we saw of said ice cream was in the beak of a sneaky (among other names I can't type on here) seagull a it flew off. The look on our faces must have been brilliant & the people around us were just s shocked as we were! Once I'd recovered from giggling so much we went straight back to the stall to get another one, this time it was a wonder Adam didn't get brain freeze from the speed he ate this one making sure he got every last crumb.
 
I took loads of photos on our afternoon trip to the seaside but this is my fave & makes me giggle every time I see it & I felt it deserved a post of it's own!

Our long weekend was really busy & didn't feel long at all! It was full of crappy traffic, a pretty farmyard wedding, camping, fish&chips at the seaside, first football match of the season (already?! *groan!*), getting our banns certificate, glorious sunshine, crappy thunderstorms, a small birthday gathering & quite a lot of ale! Phew! At least I've got tomorrow off cos it's a certain Miss P's birthday! Woop!

Whaha I can't believe that really happened! I was at the beach as well this weekend, but fortunately no bird stole our BBQ-food ;)

That's exactly what happened to Klara when she was a little kid, she has hated seagulls ever since. When my mum went to buy her another one the ice cream van man told her a similar thing happened to a woman with Chips, but they all flew at her and she fell into the harbor! Anna x

Ladies what #ldnlunch

After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! I arrived expecting to be early but there were already lots of people sitting down for drinks & food so I grabbed a drink & perched on a pooffe. Londoners pt1

For Chrimbo Adam gave me a book called "Londoners. The days & nights of London now - as told by those who love it, hate it, live it, left it & long for it" by Craig Taylor. After reading the introduction & before reading any more I decided I'd think about what London & being a Londoner means to me. Even though I picked out bullet points I still got a bit carried away so I'll spread it over a few posts so here goes part 1, I'll start with the one thing that I think of straight away when someone says London to me: ~ the tube is a huge part of London life. It's about sitting on a train for an hour & not knowing what any one's face looks like only their shoes, panic attacks when the train gets stuck in a tunnel without explanation, keeping left, standing on the right spot on a platform so you'll be in front of the doors when they open & also so when you get off you'll be at the exit to the station - even if that exit says no ent

Russia Rabble 2018

Wow where did the last 6months go?! So far 2018 has been an ace one... not stopped as usual... but loved it all the same!  At the end of June Adam and I went to Russia with two friends... We went to Moscow and St Petersburg and we loved it. I knew it would be great but it was just so much nicer, friendlier and brighter than expected... check it out! late night flights... early morning landings... Greatest Showman binges (watched it 4 times in total - how amazing is this film?!)... lazy sleep breakfast... sunny morning walks... 40 winks on a park bench (due to 28hours of being awake!)... finally being able to check into our holiday apartment... another 40winks / 2hours kip... supermarket explorations... Bolshoi sightseeing... marvelous metro stations... jazzy shopping centers... twinkly lights everywhere... red square at night...  Day 2... wonderfully magical markets... pug cushion purchases... vodka for lunch...
