I've decided since burning my wrist 2days ago I'm going on a cooking strike until after the wedding! I don't want any more of these unsightly marks on my arms. Now just how to tell Adam!
After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! I arrived expecting to be early but there were already lots of people sitting down for drinks & food so I grabbed a drink & perched on a pooffe. I just ordered a bowl of chips (how adventurous!) but I did pick off the plates around me (yoink! Thanks Lois! ). There were mixed responses to the rather tentacle-y calamari (I have some hilarious snaps of Jazzy eating the tentacles but I'm here to make friends not enemies so those will be shared between the 2 of us &am
Wow where did the last 6months go?! So far 2018 has been an ace one... not stopped as usual... but loved it all the same! At the end of June Adam and I went to Russia with two friends... We went to Moscow and St Petersburg and we loved it. I knew it would be great but it was just so much nicer, friendlier and brighter than expected... check it out! late night flights... early morning landings... Greatest Showman binges (watched it 4 times in total - how amazing is this film?!)... lazy sleep breakfast... sunny morning walks... 40 winks on a park bench (due to 28hours of being awake!)... finally being able to check into our holiday apartment... another 40winks / 2hours kip... supermarket explorations... Bolshoi sightseeing... marvelous metro stations... jazzy shopping centers... twinkly lights everywhere... red square at night... Day 2... wonderfully magical markets... pug cushion purchases... vodka for lunch... P&S anniversary dinner... Russian pug... stunnin
The day before our wedding was pretty jam packed but with the help we had from family & friends they made sure we put the saying 'many hands make light work' well & truly to the test! Thanks to each & every one of you, we couldn't have done it without you :) The big job for the boys was to figure out how to hang all 19 posters (that Adam had slaved over) around the venue. You have no idea how long this one took to hang seeing as it was the first one & it would be the one people would spend the most looking at cos it was the table plan & needed to be perfect - no pressure then! I wouldn't say the remaining 18 were a doddle but at least they knew what needed to be done! Ma&Pa took charge of hanging all the bunting that had been loving made by both mums & looked amazing. We were really lucky with our venue (even if I didn't like the colour of the walls originally!), instead of just the one room where everything happened we had 7 to p
