From Paget Street to Pembrookshire pt3

After a lazy start & a bleary eyed farewell to Ross & Ola it was time to head out for a New Years Day walk & where better - yup you guessed it - the beach!

The weather was stunning & it felt amazing to be so far away from everything.

After the "Goodbye 2012" message the previous day we thought we'd write a "Hello 2013" in driftwood so after a few pics we decided to try a jumping shoot but this time with me in it too. Sadly I didn't have my tripod but then Art & Sam came to the rescue & built this awesome tripod / horse thing!

Mattay & I set our cameras on timer bursts & ran back & forth between jumping & clicking & I really love the end results!

While we we back at the hostel we noticed a lovely sunset so all rushed out with our cameras & clicked away.

After enjoying such a pretty sunset we decided to head down the local pub where we played cards (we weren't allowed the darts, think they were only for local people!) & enjoyed some of the local ales. As we were leaving we spotted an advert for a 12 person house about half an hour away to hire, it sounded lovely & it even has a hot tub! Think we've sorted the accommodation, so who's up for the next reunion?! My bags are already packed!

Now I want to go to the beach too! Hopefully it will become less cold again as well, so it is even more enjoyable!

I've realised the beach in winter is so much better than the summer, the sand's all wet so doesn't get in my shoes! x

After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! Londoners pt1

For Chrimbo Adam gave me a book called "Londoners. The days & nights of London now - as told by those who love it, hate it, live it, left it & long for it" by Craig Taylor. After reading the introduction & before reading any more I decided I'd think about what London & being a Londoner means to me. Even though I picked out bullet points I still got a bit carried away so I'll spread it over a few posts so here goes part 1, I'll start with the one thing that I think of straight away when someone says London to me: ~ the tube is a huge part of London life. It's about sitting on a train for an hour & not knowing what any one's face looks like only their shoes, panic attacks when the train gets stuck in a tunnel without explanation, keeping left, standing on the right spot on a platform so you'll be in front of the doors when they open & also so when you get off you'll be at the exit to the station - even if that exit says no ent

T-minus 6months / 184days!

Eeep! 6months today I'll be just about to walk down the aisle to see the man I'm going to marry! AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!I'm so ridiculously excited I'm not sure I can bottle it up! Valentines day marked 200 days till our wedding & mum made us a countdown using tape measures measuring 100cm each. The plan was to cut off a cm each day as the countdown but she'd included little charms all down them of bags, shoes, guitars, etc & we didn't want to ruin it so we're colouring it in with a Sharpie instead! She's the best! :) thanks mum! Last night after work Adam & I met up at Waterloo to head home & it was all going as planned till we stopped at one station for about 20mins cos of a backlog due to a part suspension.
