2013 resolutions

After a brilliant New Year break in Wales with my uni mates (more on that another day) I’m ready to hit 2013 with some new & some tweaked resolutions. I don’t know about you but I’m not keen on the sound of 2013, partly cos so much good happened for me in 2012 & I didn’t want it to end but also cos the ‘13’ sounds a bit ominous, not that I’m superstitious about it, I’d just like to hibernate for the year & wake up in 2014 which sounds much friendlier!

Anyways enough random ramblings & onto the resolutions:

~ FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF
I’m not going to do the typical lose weight cos it never happens, so this year I’m going to focus on feeling good overall, whether it’s spending a bit more time over my hair, or making sure I put on the right coat to match my outfit & not just grabbing the closest one as I rush out the door, or wearing clothes that make me feel good & not just scruffy. It might even result in losing a bit of the Chrimbo podge but when that’s not the end target I’ll probably reach it easier.

~ ALWAYS UNPACK WHEN I GET BACK
Whether it’s coming in from work, a weekend away or holiday I have a terrible habit of leaving suitcases unpacked or things in piles. I need to make sure I put everything away then it doesn’t build up into a mountain down by my side of the bed. It only takes a couple more minutes & it’s no big deal, so I need to……

~ STOP BEING LAZY
I can be such a slob at times, everyone is I’m sure, but I do think I’m a bit more slobby than others!

~ WATCH A NEW (old) FILM 2/3 TIMES A MONTH
It’s shocking how many classic movies I’ve not seen. I’d like to make sure Adam & I take more time to watch movies in our spare room & relax together.

~ PAY OFF SNEAKY BIT ON CREDIT CARD & KEEP IT OFF FOR GOOD!
I managed to pay off my card at the start of the year but a bit more has crept back on so I’ve made sure I’ve added the last bit to this rule & hopefully I won’t need to add this to 2014’s list!

~ GO TO BED BEFORE 11:30pm ON WEEKDAYS
I’ve even set an alarm on my phone & everything to make sure I go to bed earlier!

~ FINALLY CHANGE MY BLOG NAME
To The Happy Little World of MRS KtP!

Good luck for your resolutions whatever they may be!

Great resolutions. I'm also going to try and be nicer to myself this year, think it might be easier said than done though! Bring on 2013 xx

Great ideas and good luck with them. I hope to write fewer letters of complaint but there again if people did their jobs properly in the first place I wouldnt have to write them.
