We didnt really do much more over the weekend we just relaxed. Spent saturday in town & wiv dan & nelson then made our way to comedy club. Its usually really good but this time wasnt really that great. The healine act was funny, he was the warm up guy from never mind the buzzcocks but cos the 1st guy was so bad he never really got our attention back! After the 1st bloke failed miserably the compaire came back on & said he'd done a very brave thing by coming on stage & not telling any jokes! Yoink Hehe.

Today i slept for most of it. Did some work then learnt how 2 play poker, so watch out ill be a pro in no time! :-S :-P Hehe. Have 2 see about that one i think! Wud be a cool game 2 play but im not great @ tactics! Im not very tictacticle as a certain moose used 2 say!

So here i am, on the bus that still aint goin anywhere fast hoping i reach my bed soon! Thanks 2 everyone that came up this weekend, it was ace! :-)

After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! I arrived expecting to be early but there were already lots of people sitting down for drinks & food so I grabbed a drink & perched on a pooffe. Londoners pt1

For Chrimbo Adam gave me a book called "Londoners. The days & nights of London now - as told by those who love it, hate it, live it, left it & long for it" by Craig Taylor. After reading the introduction & before reading any more I decided I'd think about what London & being a Londoner means to me. Even though I picked out bullet points I still got a bit carried away so I'll spread it over a few posts so here goes part 1, I'll start with the one thing that I think of straight away when someone says London to me: ~ the tube is a huge part of London life. It's about sitting on a train for an hour & not knowing what any one's face looks like only their shoes, panic attacks when the train gets stuck in a tunnel without explanation, keeping left, standing on the right spot on a platform so you'll be in front of the doors when they open & also so when you get off you'll be at the exit to the station - even if that exit says no ent

T-minus 6months / 184days!

Eeep! 6months today I'll be just about to walk down the aisle to see the man I'm going to marry! AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!I'm so ridiculously excited I'm not sure I can bottle it up! Valentines day marked 200 days till our wedding & mum made us a countdown using tape measures measuring 100cm each. The plan was to cut off a cm each day as the countdown but she'd included little charms all down them of bags, shoes, guitars, etc & we didn't want to ruin it so we're colouring it in with a Sharpie instead!
