they may look innocent and help to keep you dry but i think theres another motive behind them.........

there should be health warnings on umbrellas ive decided! they can be used as leathal weapons i tell ya! it doesnt just become a problem when its raining and you have to sheild you eyes from the spokes, even when its dry your not safe from these menaces! people need to be taught to walk in crowded areas with umbrellas. the main culprits are the city men in suits with breifcases (think steede from the avengers!) they walk along merrily swinging this mini javelin as they go not worrying about who or what they spear along the way! chuh!! there've been a number of times ive been caught behind a guy whos oblivious! they even have a metal point coming out of them, who knows that the manufacturers are thinking!! at least my steps one had a rounded end so you couldnt hurt yourself or anyone else around you! :P i think they should be banned! everyone should have to wear those plastic hats thats old women wear to protect their perms! who's with me on this one?!
