Russia Rabble 2018

Wow where did the last 6months go?! So far 2018 has been an ace one... not stopped as usual... but loved it all the same!

At the end of June Adam and I went to Russia with two friends... We went to Moscow and St Petersburg and we loved it. I knew it would be great but it was just so much nicer, friendlier and brighter than expected... check it out!

late night flights... early morning landings... Greatest Showman binges (watched it 4 times in total - how amazing is this film?!)... lazy sleep breakfast... sunny morning walks... 40 winks on a park bench (due to 28hours of being awake!)... finally being able to check into our holiday apartment... another 40winks / 2hours kip... supermarket explorations... Bolshoi sightseeing... marvelous metro stations... jazzy shopping centers... twinkly lights everywhere... red square at night...

Day 2... wonderfully magical markets... pug cushion purchases... vodka for lunch... P&S anniversary dinner... Russian pug... stunning Moscow views... Shisha silliness...

Day 3... sightseeing wanders... cathedral explorations... black burgers as far as the eye could see... 4person bike mayhem... achy leg central... flat dinner and chill

Day 4... Red Square day... popped to see Lenin... stunning cathedral views inside and out... Korean tourist pushiness... Kremlin walk about... shopping spree... date night...

Day 5... Russia registration... chilled out in a park and by the fountains until we were all evacuated due to the wind getting above a tiny breeze(!)...  more shopping... last night dinner... McDs visit for a Transformer Happy Meal...

Day 6... Costa cuppa tea... train to St Petersburg... eventually found the hotel... cheese coma... Hermitage views.. Zebra silliness... coffee shop chill with a Guinness...

Day 7... Hydrofoil to Winter Palace... Fountain switch on... So. Many. Fountains... the bar!... don’t mention the Carte Dor... Hydrofoil naps... afternoon nap... rock night bar... English ale... 2hr twilight boat cruise (starting at 12:45am)... party boat dance floor... daylight at 3am... and finally bed...

Day 8... more wonderfully silly Putin mugs... Hermitage bling galore... souvenir shopping ... final meal... early to bed...

Day 9... mega early morning... suitcase stuffed... flight home (while watching Greatest Showman...obvs!)
