words from the wise woman, one dunghill mansions, putney!

well ive been here a week now and i feel like im settling in well. ive managed to keep my room tidy too which is a miracle! im quite impressed, even did the hoovering today and ive done the washing up everyday! wow!.....................ill just leave a minute for the people who have lived with me to get up off the floor and sit back down of the chairs theyve just fallen off with the shock!!.....................ok? right ill carry on! ive also joined the gym at the local leisure centre so we'll see how long that lasts, hopefully if i get it in my routine now ill keep going but we'll see! my flatmates seem really nice and weve been out a few nights this week and im off out again tonight. Just gotta find a place that does some ale and not just lager!! works going well, really liking it and it looks like it could be exactly what i wanted to do! :-) im off to india with them on tues till sunday so itll be really nice to be back in the country! shame its not bangalore but hopefully ill see everyone from there soon?!

putney still seems to be a nice place to live, really young and friendly. all the shop assistants start up converstations with you! jane at work was worried that i was living a little bit out of the way cos im living on putney heath not in putney but i explained that theres a bus pretty much outside my door and it comes every 10/15min she said 'thats not a bus service! its not regular enough' i then pointed out that ive always lived in towns where sometimes i have to wait an hour for a bus or train!! she couldnt believe that i was happy to do that! my journey to work is 5/10min on the bus to the train station then a train than runs every 10min and takes 10min to get to barnes bridge then i walk for 10min to work! not exactly a big commute is it?!
