oompa loompa doo ba di doo, ive got another puzzle for you......

why do they have to ruin a perfectly good movie (willy wonka and the chocolate factory incase u hadnt guessed!) with a remake?! went to see it the other day and i wasnt that impressed, the original was one of my all time favourite movies though! hmm! the factory wasnt magical enough it was all computerised. i could rant for quite a while but im not going to, ill just leave it at that! humph!!

this week ive met some really random people! i bumped into a guy that was my 'boyfriend' when i was in infant school and we had a quick catch up and gonna meet up again in the next few weeks! plus i saw 2 other guys from my junior school ive not seen since i was 11 and a guy that used to live next door to my gran and ive not seen him since i was about 12! wonder who else ill meet?!

been clearing out my room for the last few days. got rid of soooo much stuff PLUS some bags! wow! never ever thought id do that! argh! whats wrong with me?! doing a big carboot at the weekend, hopefully get some good money! cant wait to finish with my room cos then i get to sort out all the storage boxes in the garage that have all my bags and shoes in! woohoo! hehe

p.s. whats that green stuff that everyone on neighbours seems to be drinking at the mo?! slightly concerning!

Ladies what #ldnlunch

After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! I arrived expecting to be early but there were already lots of people sitting down for drinks & food so I grabbed a drink & perched on a pooffe. I just ordered a bowl of chips (how adventurous!) but I did pick off the plates around me (yoink! Thanks Lois! ). Happy 30th Adam!

Wow what an eventful weekend! Friday was Adam's 30th so we both took the day off work to celebrate together. After sleeping in till 10am Adam finally woke me up asking when I was going to emerge & celebrate his birthday with him - Yoink! So much for the breakfast in bed I had planned. We started the day off as all birthdays should be celebrated - with a trip to Asda! After getting the boring chores out the way we headed to Winter Wonderland (via the Barber) for our annual wander around with a mulled wine in one hand & a Bratwurst in the other all polished off with a pretzel. We stopped off at the Carousel bar to watch the world go by (literally! The whole bar rotates really slowly) & have another mulled wine while putting the world to rights before heading off for dinner in Hammersmith. Londoners pt1

For Chrimbo Adam gave me a book called "Londoners. The days & nights of London now - as told by those who love it, hate it, live it, left it & long for it" by Craig Taylor. After reading the introduction & before reading any more I decided I'd think about what London & being a Londoner means to me. Even though I picked out bullet points I still got a bit carried away so I'll spread it over a few posts so here goes part 1, I'll start with the one thing that I think of straight away when someone says London to me: ~ the tube is a huge part of London life. It's about sitting on a train for an hour & not knowing what any one's face looks like only their shoes, panic attacks when the train gets stuck in a tunnel without explanation, keeping left, standing on the right spot on a platform so you'll be in front of the doors when they open & also so when you get off you'll be at the exit to the station - even if that exit says no ent
