the happy little world of miss ktp!

wow! wow wow wow wow wow! tenacious d came and they rocked their socks off and left again! that was one of the bestest gigs i ve been to! they were mucking fagic!! it was such a funny gig. it all started off with them jamming in kyles living room then they got electrocuted and were sent straight to hell! they did all their songs from their old album as well as the newer songs plus covering flash gordon and linking it to wonder boy, then in the eoncore they did their well known ruder song (cant type it the parents read this!!) followed by tribtue (woot woot) then pinball wizard from tommy!! how cool?! jack black brought out his saxaboom too which was a previlage to witness! haha. it was at the hammersmith apollo and we (arf and me) were in the circle near the back, thankfully everyone stayed sitting down so we could all see what was going on. their backing group was aweseome too. Im off to see tenacious d tonight and im so stupidly excited! I don’t know why! Hehe. Its almost at the steps stage of excitement I would have been 6 years ago! I think it’s a mix of a gig ive been waiting for for aages, its chrimbo, ive got a day off 2moz and arf’s coming to the gig with me and I finish work on fri! Im all giddy! Its also prob the amount of crap and sugar ive eaten recently running up to chrimbo! Yoink! Had a lovely weekend with michelle. Especially when we went for a cocktail at Henrys on Covent Garden (see pic below)! I love that place! Was cool to catch up with her and have a good old giggle!! Saturday we went to see ‘The Debris’ from my myspace page. It was a really cool venue (the hope and anchor in Islington) and the gig was really fun. It was lovely at the end of the night too when one of the guys from the group came up and asked if I was from myspace and then brought the rest of the group over and introduced me to them! I was all excited the other day cos I got some mistletoe! Ive never had any before! It hasn’t made my chrimbo any more exciting yet tho! Doh! Theres still time I guess! Hehe. Its really weird at the mo cos it doesn’t seem like Christmas. I went out to the tnt party last night and I was walking through the streets without my coat on. Its really mild and doesn’t feel like December at all. Im quite disappointed! I want a cold Christmas when I can wrap up warm in big coats and hats! Doesn’t look like its going to be a white chrimbo that’s for sure. The jewler in Leicester is safe for another year!! Work’s winding down to chrimbo now and we are all passing the time by eating the chocolates customers have got for us! Cant be bad eh?! Though I keep eating too many and feeling sick! Me & krysha @ brogans last night. I was quite impressed cos i stitched on the furry trim on my top! Gettin into the chrimbo spirit good & proper! It was a really good night actually & it was nice being out with my housemates. One thing thats annoyed me tho is the fact that i didnt feel drunk last night but im really suffering today! Isn’t it weird the way smells can take you straight back to a memory? It just takes one whiff! I used some Tres Semme shampoo today cos I’d run out of my usual one and now every time I move my head and smell my hair it takes me straight back to my bommasandra days! When I smell it I can picture our grubby little shower room and expect to hear the paper boy and the veg woman shouting, all in the sunshine and ‘sister’ washing our dishes in cold water with the same rag she just washed the floor with (!!) but then I look up and im sitting in the office, at my desk, with scissor sistors on the radio for the 100000th today and its only 9:25am and its just grey and miserable outside. Think I’ll smell my hair one more time……..! xx

I know i know im rubbish at posting on here at the mo. Im like slink & have become a victim to myspace. Its wicked ways are leading me to abandon my poor blog thats been through thick & thin with me! Im determined not to let it win tho! Seeing as its now december i thought id post a photo of my chrimbo tree thats been up in our flat for quite a while now! Hehe.
