Just thought I'd end the week with a few more photos of little Clovis from my Bangalore visit a few weeks ago. He was such a little cutie & I especially loved his little henna hands! So cute! I can't believe I was relaxing in the sunshine at the end of Jan & now here I am sitting indoors with my scarf on feeling rather nippy! Brr! Have a good weekend & don't get too cold! Ttfn x

Last week I was a proper busy bee in Mumbai then seeing as Saturday was a public holiday I took a few extra days off & flew down to Bangalore (or Benglaru as it's known now) to see Fan, Srinath & their (not so) new arrival Clovis. I had to be pretty much prised off the sofa in the garden to come back to grey London, I just wanted to call Adam & ask him to fly out to meet me! The weather was bliss, though the mosquitos weren't! On Sunday Fan had arranged a house party with lots of new faces, but most importantly a few old ones too! I got to catch up with Sanath, Sumitha, Sagar & Shalini & her lovely family all while being refreshed with Kingfisher & crepes! Perfick! It all got a bit too exciting for Clovis at one point, though he had Paddington all the way from London to keep him company. What a sweetie! Just a little late night post to wish y'all Happy Diwali!  We've been enjoying the fireworks all around us from our kitchen window while we make dinner! It was like being in Bombay just colder & without crackers being set off next to petrol stations & thrown at my rikshaw! Ahh India at Diwali time. Crazy but fun!  We've been treated to firework displays for about a week & a half now (ever since Bonfire Night) so hopefully we'll have our peaceful evenings back soon (with only the snoring downstairs to disturb us :S)! Seeing as this week's been a bit of an India week I thought I'd finish it off with a few more pictures from my week in Mumbai ~ I stayed at the Regal Enclave in Khar which was fine but I could never pronounce "Khar" right so the taxi drivers couldn't find the place!  ~One night I ordered room service so I could chill out & watch Chuck on the laptop, I made sure I ordered Gulab Jamun for pudding & it was delish!  ~ It wasn't till it was about 2am one morning & I couldn't sleep cos of the guy next door shouting into his phone that I noticed the glittery walls. Love it! ~ On my way into work one morning there was this stunning classic car lined up to go onto the Sea Link. I wouldn't dare drive such a pretty car in India through fear of getting it dented!   ~ This was my ever so romantic Valentines dinner for 1! I had what turned out to be a salad on a pizza which was so good but I was a bit nervous it might make me ill - thankfully it didn...

At 6pm on Friday 17th Feb we all switched off computers & scurried away to get changed into our outfits ready for Donna's wedding. The night before I'd been at Rajat's Pooja ( link here ) & tonight was the big day for them both & it was all rather exciting! Seeing as Donna's Catholic & Rajat's Hindu they had a Catholic service in the morning which I couldn't make cos of work boo! (I did see a video clip & a few photos from a few people who did make it though & she looked gorgeous) & then the big celebration/reception & Hindu service in the evening. Loads of people from work came which was really great to have some time with them out of the office & get to know them better. While nattering we sat down for a bit to wait our turn to go up on the stage to meet the happy couple. While I was in Mumbai 2weeks ago as well as working on our new collection I was also invited to take part in Donna & Rajat's wedding celebrations. I work quite closely with Donna so it was weird not seeing her in the office but was great to see her & be part of her wedding in the evenings.  The night before the actual wedding was Rajat's Pooja. It was held between two blocks of flats in his complex & it was quite funny to see the residents having to walk through the service to get to & from their homes. These snaps are from during the Pooja. I felt a bit awkward at first being the only white girl there & wandering round while it was going on but after a while (& after I realised everyone else was doing the same) I was getting right in there! The exhibitionist strikes again! There was lots of singing (all in Hindi) & clapping & the service went on for about 3hours. They even came round with cups of tea for everyone whil...

I'm back! Not sure if you missed me or not but I'm back all the same! Didn't really get much time to blog this past week after flying to India on Valentines day with work, being mega busy there working on our collections, attending a wedding & working thru the dreaded delhi belly (enough excuses for you?!). I only landed back last night & while I sit back at my desk trying to figure out what time zone I'm in I'll leave you with some more of my Febphotoaday pics (I cheated a bit cos they're not done instagram while I was abroad but I'm sure y'all will forgive me?!). * Blue - I was feeling a bit stressy & down before my flight to India - so much to do in such little time. * Heart - Adam & I had given each other cards to open on Valentines day seeing as we were apart from each other - spooky thing was we'd bought each other the same type of card & written pretty much the same thing, surely it's too soon to start merging into...

As well as working hard in India last week I went out to the cinema with Donna to see the new Harry Potter. It's always fun heading down to Phoenix & grabbing a few snacks before heading in & stuffing our faces with popcorn. We made our usual stop at the Pani Puri guy & Donna kept reminding the guy to keep mine less spicy (I'm useless!) & the were scrummy! Afterwards I washed it all down with a cup of Masala Chai. You can't beat it! Haha I've just noticed you can just see Donna's hand coming down to grab my Pani Puri! The cheek of it! Indian cinemas are always so comfy & even more so when you’re in the VIP bit like we were (going up in the world I know!). We stood for the National Anthem – I love this part, anything patriotic is great in my eyes, I just wish we could do this in the UK but no one seems interested which is such a shame. I’d love to celebrate St George’s Day, wave the Union Jack & not be seen as sad for liking the Royal Family...
