echos - lufbra or london standard?! you decide!!
well im back in barwell now but yet again only a brief stop, im off up north tomorrow to visit my aunty untill wednesday!
lufbra was ace! got my room ready it looks very indian now! sam and i went for an indian meal (my first proper one since getting back, it was very good, had peshwari nan! mmmmm!). i got a drunken phone call from seamus who was in cosmo with nat, em and becca, got to chat to danny too which was nice! rikster, anna and andy came about 9pmish and we had quite a quiet night in catching up with all the gossip. on saturday went into the town and found out that lufbra now has a topshop AND pizza hut! wow! rfa, dave and ben came in the afternoon and we debated over whether to risk a bbq with the weather being as dodgy as it was. there a quick break in the clouds so we all rushed up to sainos and got the food and booze etc and lit the bbq. it then rained again but not for long so we carried on cooking. john, dan and aiden (dans housemate) came over at 11pm and we set off for lloyds. they were playing pure cheesy classics which was cool and the theme carried on when we walked into echos! partay! i was quite impressed with the attendant in the loos in echos, she was handing out lollies, chewing gum, hairspray, straightners, perfume, makeup and anything else you might have wanted! when a woman asked why she was doing this the attendant said that they were trying to be like the london clubs! hmm! echos like a london pub?! i dont think so! got home about 3:30am and cut my smarties bday cake. i got some well good presents too - gorillaz cd, photo mobile thingy, a nice card, peter kay dvd and ricky gervais dvd! ace! should keep me entertained for hours! today we went for a pub lunch, cleaned the house then everyone went their separate ways.
it was really nice to see everone again and catch up. it makes me feel so much better about being back when you see that all these people have travelled from all over to come and see and celebrate with me! cheers chucks! we had such a giggle and could boggie the night away without worrying about being arrested! england has its good points i guess!! :-P
