young and the hopeless!

Last Friday I went to see Good Charlotte at Brixton Academy. I’ve liked them since I was in 1st year and we used to jump around to ‘lifestyles of the rich and famous’ at rock night seeing as that was the only ‘rock’ thing I knew back in them days!! So when I got tickets to see them I was a little bit more than excited! (I like them cos of the view as well as their music so that helps of course!! ;-) ) OBVIOUSLY BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER!! :P Now I knew that there would be quite a lot of emos and quite a lot of teenagers there cos I thought it would be about an over 14s gig at the worst, so I braced myself. But nothing prepared me for the fact that there was no age limit! There were kids who looked as young as 7 wandering around in their little GC tshirts! I couldn’t believe it! I think adam and I were some of the oldest people there who weren’t parents! :S I usually feel old at a reel big fish gig cos they are over 14s but this was worse! GC were brilliant liv

There's someone in my head but it's not me...

I was going to write this blog once id got all my photos sorted so I could post them with the writing but I've waiting too long and still haven't got them ready!! had a great weekend last week. On Friday night arf came to london and we went to see roger waters of pink floyd fame at earls court. I wasn't sure how much of his stuff I would know but I was pleasantly surprised when I was singing along to quite alot of it! It was such a brilliant show. so much fun. there were no support acts so it went straight into him. the 1st act was alot of stuff off alot of the albums they had a huge inflatable spaceman flying over the audience and later on an enormous pig that came half way out from the stage! the 2nd half was the whole of the 'dark side of the moon' album and towards the end a prism came down from the ceiling and there was a light going into it on one side and a spectrum coming out the other, just like the album cover. it looked so good! the encore was

Well its that time of year again, beerkeller & freefest! :-) Adam & i drove up to lufbra saturday morning & thankfully the traffic was fine. We left early cos of it being the bank holiday weekend but we didnt really need to the roads were pretty clear. We got to lufbra about midday & seeing as the promised rain was holding off we all decided to have a bbq. It was really nice having everyone together chillaxing outside. The gang consisted of Rfa, mattay, tricky, anna, sam, john, ross, ola, adam & me. After our food the swingball was fetched out of the greenhouse & i am pleased to say all those years of playing swingball with mum when i was little paid off & i was, (thanks to tina turner) simply the best! Hehe. That night it was the beerkeller & thankfully i was a bit (not alot!) more prepared for it & didnt need to call 0800-carrymehome! Was a fun night & i did end up falling backwards over a fence but i was pushed ok?! Sunday we met the

potty language!

I found this explanation of womens public toilets and what takes us so long to use them. i hope my male readers feel enlightened and understand us alot more after reading this! When you need to visit a public loo there is invariably a line of women waiting, you smile politely and take your place in the line, it finally gets to your turn, you check for feet under the cubicle doors. Every cubicle is occupied. But eventually a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the cubicle. You get in to find the door won't lock. It doesn't matter, the wait has been so long and you are about to wet your pants! The dispenser for the modern 'seat covers' is handy, but empty. You would hang your bag on the door hook if there was one, but there isn't so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, yank down your pants and assume 'the position'. In this position your ageing, toneless thigh muscles begin to shake. You would love to sit d
