Following on from my FOMO post last week I've been finding my "One Second A Day" monthly movies even more important. Sadly my I lost my May one due to my phone breaking but here's what I got up to in June... Thursday night Ceroc fun... Friday Night Spoons... During my trip to the fabric trade fair PV in Paris last week I was trying to act all professional. I walked onto a stand, went to grab a pen & pulled out a peg left over from my birthday drinking game! Yoink! Ttfnx

Picture the scene...it's Easter Saturday, it's sunny & we're by the seaside...no we're not walking by the beach soaking up the rays, we're in a dark & noisy room hunched over a machine. That's right we're playing pinball! As you do! Nick, Adam & I traveled down to Worthing to South Coast Slam & it was awesome! We arrived just before 10am as they were turning on the machines & it was lucky we arrived early so we could try out quite a few before the crowds arrived later... & I mean crowds! My first machine of choice was a Tommy themed one, while Adam drooled over a Wrestling one that was for sale (thankfully we didn't buy it...yet, so we didn't have to attempt to get it on the train home!) & Nick made a bee line for Donkey Kong. A good few hours later we emerged blinking into the sunshine to find some good pub grub... as we stepped out we were greeted by The Delorean - signed & everything along side a Back ...

In December we discovered Heart Of Gaming, a magical place in North Acton! Check out their Facebook page HERE Adam & Nick decided to spend a joint birthday there after finding out about this Gamers Paradise. It's been growing in popularity thanks to word of mouth & various articles about it, they have a whole range of arcade machines so as you walk in you can warm up with a bit of Street Fighter & then advance to Dance Dance Revolution - a perfect combo! I might build up the confidence to have a go on the Dance machines this time - everyone was so good I was gob-smacked watching them! The other rooms house various consoles including N64 (wahoo!), SNES & X-Box & their plans for this year are really exciting including a bar (hopefully with some ale!). As well as gamers coming to brush up on their skills they also hold regular tournaments & overnight sessions. It was awesome - we had so much fun! They've cleverly worked it so you pay no more than £...

Last weekend was AWESOME! FACT! I had an awesome time with awesome friends doing awesome things! Get the picture?! It was pretty darn swell! I met up with Anna & Lou on the Friday evening for a posh cocktail at the Skylon before grabbing a bite to eat at Strada on the Southbank & heading to our hotel for the weekend. I walked into the room I was sharing with Anna to be greeted with this! How brill?! She'd even super imposed my face onto the queen! Love it! By this point everything was still a surprise & I had no idea what was going on, on top of the postcards I'd had a while back (see post HERE ) I'd also had one recently that was just full of song lyrics. I've since had it pointed out to me that each line hinted at something we'd be doing, I've never been good at cryptic puzzles so this was lost on me totally! This weekend it was all about me (what's new?!). With just under 7weeks to go some of the girlies I went to college with had decided I should have a bit of a pamper & a relax before it goes crazy. Also seeing as my real Hen Party isn't until after the wedding they decided to throw me a mini Hen Party - otherwise now known as a Chick Party! For mum's 60th birthday a few weekends ago we went to the Team GB Olympic qualifiers for the athletics at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. I'd never been to an Athletics event before, it was great fun but tricky to keep an eye on all the events happening all at once! I needed about 20 pairs of eyes & the same amount of cameras! We had fab seats 5 rows from the front & we were right in front of the long jump / triple jump sand pit & close to the finishing line for the races. On our way to the stadium mum stopped off at the Aviva Athlete's message wall to leave Team GB a message. Dad & I with the birthday girl :) The first event we saw was the Long Jump. We (mum especially) were excited to be seeing Jessica Ennis competing who'd already qualified for the Heptathlon. We also saw Ugen, Sawyers & Proctor who broke the British Record. We were lucky cos Jessica's trainer was sitting right behind us so each time she'd jumped ...

We were lucky enough to get tickets to Queens Club for the Tennis this year & even luckier we got them for the Tuesday & not the Monday (which was a complete wash out!) It was really bizarre the way it was just at the end of a row of houses, would love to buy one of them though so we could watch all the matches from the back bedroom! Our tickets were for Centre Court & the seats were really good (not sure there are any bad ones though it was so small), you could even watch the action on court 2 in between matches! Unfortunately cos there had been no play the day before we had Monday's matches, if all had gone to plan though we'd have seen Andy Murray. I'm not a huge fan of him to be honest & he didn't actually play that well in the end but would have been good to see him. Welcome to the world's first P-P Darts Championship. While at Jill & Keith's over Easter in between rubbish tv we decided to have a game of darts.  I've never really played darts before so I took my ever-so-professional darts-stance & threw my first practise shot & ended up with a bullseye! In your face! The competition had begun.... It was quite good fun apart from all the maths involved! Thankfully Keith was on hand to work out my score for me. It came round to my go later on & all I needed was a double 4. Seeing as I hadn't really aimed my other darts anywhere in particular & it seemed to be working ok I threw my dart & hoped against all odds it would land in the double 4 & that's where it went! Ooooosh! Every one, including me was in shock & we decided to call it a day seeing as Match of the Day was about to start. If only Bullseye was still on telly, I could have won us a speedboat or something equally useless! Ttfn...
