the happy little world of miss ktp!

I was getting ready to dye my hair pink before I walked down the aisle to go from Miss P to Mrs P. Two. whole. years! Crazy! We got up early this morning to do presents. Adam got me a "cotton" apron with sausage dogs on (so cute & will stop me ruining clothes when I 'cook'!) & I made a "cotton" cross stitch of us on our wedding day... I bought the pattern from Etsy (see link HERE ),  all I had to do was send a photo of us & everything was customised to fit & even our little inflatable pug was added! It took me a bit longer than expected because I only had the odd 5min before I picked Adam up from the station or did a bit during lunch at work but I eventually got there! 24. Memory.... This card's got to be my fave from my birthday! So many dancing shows, so many happy memories :) 25. Little.... I did my little bit for MND with the Ice Bucket challenge - wow was it cold! Click the video below if you want a nosey, don't worry I won't nominate you.... 26. Morning.... I must get back into the gym. I had quite a good workout on Tuesday morning, so good I ended up signing up for a 5K run! Don't ask! More info on this another day! I'm mega uber busy at the moment (what's new I know!) & for some reason some of the words from the August Break Challenge have left me stumped & un-inspired so I'm going to miss them out! 21. Treasures... On the 21st it was my 30th birthday - wow where did time go?! I got lots of treasures that made me smile...in particular was: ~ my last Hen Party letter that I wasn't allowed to open till my 30th birthday, (I'd kept it safe for almost 2 years & couldn't wait to see what was inside!). I opened it up to find it was from Scary, each page was for something she remembered us doing together along with a few photos & postcards. It was brilliant & brought back memories of so many fun times. I really miss spending time with her so here's to a proper catch up soon Miss! ~ the other gift was an Illustration from Lou's friend Stuart - check out his website  HERE . He's one talented chap! He got every little detail right from my non-existent chin to my patterned tights & filly socks! 23. Adornment... I love wearing my Crown & Glory (website HERE ) RockNRoll Bride headpiece. It always makes me feel sunny & happy...

Came home from a manic day, decided to buy some Pansies & plant them in the peace of our garden....no noise, no hustle just me & the earthworms. Bliss! 15. Blue... I'm sorry.....couldn't resist! Anyway if you really knew me I'm sure you were expecting it anyway! 16. Look Down.... Exactly what I am doing. 17. Bookshelf.... This is one of my favourite parts of our new home...I always wanted a library wall & I've got one along with space for some special knick-knacks 18. Jump.... Yesterday I got a bit excitable....not only did I get tickets to the tv show "Tumble" on Saturday....H from Steps tweeted to say see you there. We're practically BFFs. Fact! My little heart did a pretty big jump! 19. Black & White.... I've actually started wearing more monochrome outfits lately, well KtP can't do monochrome without the odd neon flash in there. 9. In My Bag... My bag all packed with props for Secret Cinema last night. It was amazing! I'll do a proper post when it's finished so u don't spoil anything for anyone still to go....believe me though, you won't regret it! 10. Drink.... You haven't had a good tea till you've had a "Grumble Tea" there's a guy at work who makes the. best. tea, shame today's Sunday & I won't get one! ....a day to get excited! In t-minus 2 days we'll be going Back To The Future with the help of Secret Cinema & we can't wait! We popped to Hill Valley Stores tonight to get a few last minute bits & bobs for our outfits & couldn't possibly walk past Lou's Cafe without dropping in for a hot dog & fries. The atmosphere was great & the people working there made you feel so welcome & part of it, if this is just a little taster then I can't wait to see the whole shebang on Saturday! Yay! Trying to find a new top for my birthday partay in a few weekends but found nothing...not one lousy top I liked...so what did I do?! As I looked out of my patio doors I smiled to think I'm a proper grown up! I have patio doors for a starter. I also now have a rotary washing line (thanks to ma&pa) - I'm typing this as my first wash load dries outside.....yeah I know, cue rain clouds.
