the happy little world of miss ktp!

well im back from our daytrip to pondicherry. it was really good fun, but we're all like zombies today! our coach was very nice though and i slept for the whole journey. the trip got off to a sad start cos on saturday night before leaving i went to 13th floor then taika with rob to say bye. i was ok till i gave him a hug as i was leaving, as soon as i stepped out the door at taika i burst into tears! i think manjunath the driver wondered what on earth was wrong as i blubbed my way to shama travels to catch the coach! im really gonna miss rob, seamus and him have been looking after me while ive been out here (and vice versa!) and weve had soo much fun! im sure he wont miss the times that seamus and i gave him excellant dating advice though!! :-P we left bangalore at 11pm and arrived in pondi at 5:30am. we headed to the beach, wandered around for a bit then ended up in hot breads for our hot choc croissant and hot chocolate! mmmm! then we visited the ganesh temple and ashr...

im sitting here trying to waste an hour waiting for my photos from yesterdays game to be developed. it was really good watching these sporting heros of bangalore (!!) and i enjoyed taking the photos, got some very good poses from various people!! unfortunately i missed the end of the match cos i didnt want to be late for beccas birthday meal, thankfully i wasnt late, i was actually an hour early cos id got the time wrong!! oops! i passed the time in the library bar chatting to randoms! to make matters worse becca, em and nat were an extra half hour late due to bad traffic so i could have seen all of the tennis plus had a kingfisher or two! we eventually met up and the meal was very good, although we were joined by a random drunken guy who insisted on sitting with us untill we asked the waiter to 'remove this man please!' after that we moved onto good old cosmo! i had 2 reasons for going, it was beccas birthday and also reillys leaving doo. i had such a good night! i w...

ive been asked to record a very important sporting activity at the taj westend tomorrow. There will be reputations at stake as tennis balls fly backwards and forwards. one of the main concerns, will a certain players shoes mange to stand up to the match this time and not give up half way through while the player still wants to play?!?! Im hoping my photography skills are up to scratch as ive never done sport shots before (eek!) so itll be quite fun trying to get some decent pictures! The reason for this tennis match is because a Mr Rob Reilly is leaving for the Philippines at the start of next week ( :-( ) and i have been a loyal groupie (according to some people) of his tennis playing for the last couple of months! 'you look like cleopatra, very elegant' and finally as we were leaving, he yelled 'batman!' now im sorry but i cant see how a top that makes me look elegant like cleopatra one minute makes me look like batman the next?! hehe. we left mojo and went on to cosmo, and ended up having a private leaving party and it was ace! i was taken up to the dj booth and had to make a speech infront of everyone to miss cecily saying how we'd all miss her (and we do already!!) and things like that! i certainly wouldnt have done that a year ago! ...

had a well good weekend! saturday night went out to cosmo cos seamus and rob were back from being away for ages so we had a good chin wag, catching up on stuff and they tried their best to embarass me as usual, its not hard! (at least i now know the manager of cosmo, eh?! ;-) hehe) we had a 'fetch' time and giggled the night away! on sunday i was supposed to be going on a work trip to some waterfalls. unfortunately i wasnt very well so couldnt go and ended up satying at home. i then thought id join seamus, rob, paul, ben and 2 more people for a quiet lunch at sunnys. hmm that never really happened! everything was going well, the food was lovely and had nice atmosphere, that was untill the waiter asked for our last orders at the bar at 3pm! the whole table fell silent and i thought some of the people on my table might actually collapse with the shock!!! (you know who you are!). we finished our food asap and moved onto the oberoi for 'a few drinks.' we event...

tonight i went to one of my favourite shops in b'lore, its like a little treasure trove of things and as soon as i enter the door i go into a trance of trying to buy as much as i possibly can! when i went tonight i hadnt been for a while, the woman looked up from her little stool and just beamed at me, her eyes glistened with rupee signs! she knows a mug when she sees one! she started to chat to me and said that she'd been thinking of me recently wondering where i was cos i was one of her best customers! hmm! thats right compliment me and ill spend more, im a shopkeepers dream! when im browsing the little shop every step i take leads me to something that i never knew i needed, but if i left without it i would miss it! After only about 30-45min there i left with a newspaper carrier bag filled with overpriced stuff that will fall apart within about 2 days! chuh! xxx

ok so might have sunbathed a bit too much on sunday at the taj! i now have lovely brown parts and other very bright white parts! mmmmm attractive! been a bit of a part animal last week, tonight is my 1st day off from clubbing for 4 nights! ooops! met some new people out and about on friday and ended up clubbing with them till the wee hours of the morning, saturday was cosmo then taika (where else?!?!), Sunday i went to a salsa party with em and becca, it was ok but i never like dancing things where u have to wait for someone to ask to dance with you, i ended up sitting on my own while the others were dancing away with guys! chuh! never mind, they dont know what thye were missing! :-P hehe. my worst nightmare came true today - a cockroach in the toilet cubicle! Argh! It ran circles round me as i tried to work out what my best escape route was! They're evil little monsters! Luckily i escaped without too much panick and the cockroach remains to scare me another day............. :-S xxx

i was really scared today. i went to the bakery to get my water and veg puff for breakie and this lorry drove past me. nothing new there, apart from the fact the its tyre exploded right by my head!!!! all i heard was a bang, i went deaf in one ear, i was showered in dust and crap and then i had a pain in my side! me being the over reactive person that i am thought id been shot or summit hehe. im fine now though so panick over but it was well scary! everyone looked as shocked as i was! i then tried to carry on, still shaking, as if nothing had happened and got my veg puff!! chuh! india eh?!?! off to pizza hut tonight then going to good ol cosmo for a few kingfishers to calm my nerves! mmm! xx

hehe dont worry too much about the title! all will be explained! right well im back from another successful exhibition, it was so much fun once id got the printing sorted out and slipped my extra page into the brochures! it took 12 hours to get there on the train which wasnt too bad, i had the highest bunk so noone could bother me and i was out the way with all my bags and photos for the show! hyderabad was a really nice city, bigger than i expected. the gallery was HUGE! i was so pleased to see my photos up there! i was interviewed by the newspapers and tv!
