i have a what face?!?!

well seeing how nice and honnest most indians are, one guy at work told me i had a face like a vegetable today! charming! :-S didnt ask him what veg tho prob a beetroot cos its so hot out here at times!! ive also been called a sumo wrestler too which wasnt very flattering either!! hmm!

have been off work again yesterday and today cos ive hurt my neck, and today my side started hurting as well as my back and stomach also i couldnt breathe very deeply. went back to the drs today and showed them my inhaler and she saih 'ah.......the medicine can affect people with inhalers' i wasnt impressed! yeah sure i should have checked myself but surely a dr can ask me to check if i can have them medication?! when u get tablets over here u dont get them in a box or instructions or ingredients with them. all you get is a brown paper bag with the tablets (in tinfoil) but loose! you get a little slip too telling you to take them 2/3times a day but by the time you get home you cant remember which one was which!

ive come into the shopping mall tonight to email but i really should have stayed in bed. i felt really ill and fan took me to mcds to recover (couldnt eat it all and im full! huh?!) once we had sat down they put daniel bedingfield on 'if you're not the one' which ALWAYS makes me cry, so i was sat in mcds crying and poor fan didnt iknow what to do!! whoops!

one day to go till sting, i really want to go but not sure if its wise to cos i really do feel like poo! ill decide tomorrow but hope i make it. ive been looking forward to it so much! :-(

one last thing, why do alot of indian men wear tight trousers?! some of them soooo tight they cant ride a bike or run properly?!?!?!?!

Happy 30th Adam!

Wow what an eventful weekend! Friday was Adam's 30th so we both took the day off work to celebrate together. After sleeping in till 10am Adam finally woke me up asking when I was going to emerge & celebrate his birthday with him - Yoink! So much for the breakfast in bed I had planned. We started the day off as all birthdays should be celebrated - with a trip to Asda! After getting the boring chores out the way we headed to Winter Wonderland (via the Barber) for our annual wander around with a mulled wine in one hand & a Bratwurst in the other all polished off with a pretzel. We stopped off at the Carousel bar to watch the world go by (literally! The whole bar rotates really slowly) & have another mulled wine while putting the world to rights before heading off for dinner in Hammersmith. Ladies what #ldnlunch

After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! I arrived expecting to be early but there were already lots of people sitting down for drinks & food so I grabbed a drink & perched on a pooffe. I just ordered a bowl of chips (how adventurous!) but I did pick off the plates around me (yoink! Thanks Lois! ). Londoners pt1

For Chrimbo Adam gave me a book called "Londoners. The days & nights of London now - as told by those who love it, hate it, live it, left it & long for it" by Craig Taylor. After reading the introduction & before reading any more I decided I'd think about what London & being a Londoner means to me. Even though I picked out bullet points I still got a bit carried away so I'll spread it over a few posts so here goes part 1, I'll start with the one thing that I think of straight away when someone says London to me: ~ the tube is a huge part of London life. It's about sitting on a train for an hour & not knowing what any one's face looks like only their shoes, panic attacks when the train gets stuck in a tunnel without explanation, keeping left, standing on the right spot on a platform so you'll be in front of the doors when they open & also so when you get off you'll be at the exit to the station - even if that exit says no ent
