don't ask don't get!

Last Sunday Adam & I had our Engagement Session with Chris Barber (woop - more on that when we get the photos which we can't wait for!). We'd wanted to get some photos in a 50s diner & had emailed Ed's see their website here (**warning** if you're sneakily reading this at work or somewhere you shouldn't be make sure your speakers are switched off!) in Selfridges, Birmingham. Expecting a generic email back saying 'no' we got an excited personal response asking us what time we wanted to be there! When we arrived they'd reserved 4 booths for us to give us the space to move around & get the perfect shot. The special treatment didn't end there either - after our shoot & eating some amazing food (yup wedding diet's going sooo well!) we were presented with a food bill with 20% knocked off & a Clarins box filled with goodies to say congratulations! How amazing?!
I couldn't believe how much stuff was in the box it was so lovely of them!
We (well, I!) got the following:
~ 2 Clarins make up bags
~ Clarins invigorating fragrance, smoothing body scrub & hydraquench cream-mask
~ Acqua Di Parma Blu Mediterraneo eau de toilette samples & body lotion
~ perfume samples from Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Carolina Herrera & Ellie Saab
~ Juicy Couture body lotion & shower gel
~ Narciso Rodriguez scented candle
~ Clinique moisturizing lotion
Phew!
I just really wanted to say thanks so much to Ed's & all they did for us, they made a special day even more special! If you're ever in Brum, or London, they've got some there too (click the link to find the nearest one) & feeling a bit peckish check them out - great music, fab staff & scrummy food!

The next day we awoke to beautiful blue skies & sunshine. I don't usually post about what I wore (hence the crappy lighting & dodgy background) but I loved the fact I could be so colourful & sunny. Sorry for the dad joke I just couldn't resist! Hope y'all had a lovely Easter either with family, friends or mountains of chocolate! We managed two out of the three so can't be bad! Ma&Pa got us Easter eggs with the wedding countdown on (as if we could forget!) Sunday we went to Adam's parents & just relaxed. It was just the R&R we needed. They treated me to a Kinder Egg & I whiled away the time making my jigsaw & nibbling the choc. We gave Jill&Keith a box of Dairy Milk & then helped them along the way with eating it. Today we're seeing my side of the family & then it's back to work. Argh! Where did that long weekend go?! Ttfn x

T-minus 6months / 184days!

Eeep! 6months today I'll be just about to walk down the aisle to see the man I'm going to marry! AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!I'm so ridiculously excited I'm not sure I can bottle it up! Valentines day marked 200 days till our wedding & mum made us a countdown using tape measures measuring 100cm each. The plan was to cut off a cm each day as the countdown but she'd included little charms all down them of bags, shoes, guitars, etc & we didn't want to ruin it so we're colouring it in with a Sharpie instead! Last night after work Adam & I met up at Waterloo to head home & it was all going as planned till we stopped at one station for about 20mins cos of a backlog due to a part suspension.
