Pitter pitter patter, it looks like rain.

Finally we've got some rain! Random comment I know but I can't remember the last time it rained properly. Ok this isn't big fat drops of rain (which I love listening to when it hits my umbrella!) but it's still pretty wet out here.


Sometimes I love evenings like this, when the light's getting dim, the air's quite fresh & I'm standing on the station platform listening to the rain hit the roof (I don't love hearing that the train's getting more & more delayed at the first hint of rain though!). Hopefully won't be too much longer....

The next day we awoke to beautiful blue skies & sunshine. I don't usually post about what I wore (hence the crappy lighting & dodgy background) but I loved the fact I could be so colourful & sunny. Bring on the permanent better weather when I dress like this all day & every day! Adam & I met the gang & we all headed to the British Museum. Colin & Sue had tickets to see Grayson Perry (which we'd seen before) so when they went into the show we walked around the other displays. I couldn't resist getting another photo of Alan Measles on the back of his bike basking in the sunshine as well as a photo of part of the Hajj exhibition. I don't think they could have put two more different shows on at the same time! T-minus 6months / 184days!

Eeep! 6months today I'll be just about to walk down the aisle to see the man I'm going to marry! AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!I'm so ridiculously excited I'm not sure I can bottle it up! Valentines day marked 200 days till our wedding & mum made us a countdown using tape measures measuring 100cm each. The plan was to cut off a cm each day as the countdown but she'd included little charms all down them of bags, shoes, guitars, etc & we didn't want to ruin it so we're colouring it in with a Sharpie instead! She's the best! :) thanks mum! Last night after work Adam & I met up at Waterloo to head home & it was all going as planned till we stopped at one station for about 20mins cos of a backlog due to a part suspension. Sorry for the dad joke I just couldn't resist! Hope y'all had a lovely Easter either with family, friends or mountains of chocolate! We managed two out of the three so can't be bad! Ma&Pa got us Easter eggs with the wedding countdown on (as if we could forget!) Sunday we went to Adam's parents & just relaxed. It was just the R&R we needed. They treated me to a Kinder Egg & I whiled away the time making my jigsaw & nibbling the choc. We gave Jill&Keith a box of Dairy Milk & then helped them along the way with eating it. Today we're seeing my side of the family & then it's back to work. Argh! Where did that long weekend go?! Ttfn x
