My legs don't know what's hit them!
Today was another looong day of walking! We started off at primarni cos I needed to return a dress that didn't fit & boy was that a bad plan! It took about half an hour to queue up! Eventually got it sorted tho & got a few more bits I didn't bother to try on cos that queue was stupid for that too so who knows I could have to go through it all again! We decided we needed a cuppa after that & headed to John Lewis where we also looked at ribbons to get a good idea if anything matched our wedding theme colours.
After that was Regent Street & we saw all the flags ready for the royal wedding. Yay!
We took a detour onto Carnaby Street to have a nosey at a few places for wedding outfit ideas (no secrets being given away just yet!) & saw all these mannequins lined up with 'Middleton' written on them, dunno if they're supposed to be just like her or what!
Loved this sign below outside a pub near the shops!
Our next stop was Shoreditch & Brick Lane to see what graffiti was around & any new boutiquey shops. Loved the design below & also found some alternative royal wedding prints which were pretty cool.
By this point our legs were about to drop off so we sat in a Costa for a couple of hours recharging! At 7pm we met a group at Aldgate East to go on a Jack The Ripper walking tour.
If you're looking or summit to do one evening in London I'd definately suggest one of these tours. Ours was with www.jack-the-ripper-walks.com & our guide was called Philip Hutchinson & I'd recommend him & this company for sure. It was so interesting to walk the streets where The Ripper once walked & find out lots of info on such a famous serial killer. I didn't really know much about him till tonight but it lasted 2hrs & was well worth every penny. We ended our evening on Brick Lane with a curry at my favourite place Monsoon. We managed to get 2 free drinks each, 25% off the bill & free popadoms! I'd probably still go there even if they didn't do a deal cos they definately do the best curry on the road!
