the happy little world of miss ktp!

went home this weekend for the bankholiday. it was the flower festival at church so popped along to see everyone and to have a nosey at the flowers. it was looking really nice as usual! it was lovely going home for the sat, sun, mon cos it was mum, dad and aunty beryl and it had felt like ages since id seen them and been at home. uncle colin and aunty sue came over on the saturday night and we had a swinging time! it was really good fun. had a chinese and hottub evening (oh how i needed that hottub after reel big fish! i was still aching so so much!). they got me a fluffly pink pen for my bday, to everyone else its as garish as it sounds but i think its pretty cool! hehe. not tried taking it into a meeting yet, maybe wont either!! we'll see! went to see reel big fish (again!) and as per usual it was ace! Never danced so much at a gig in my life, ever! I went with Cath and Sarah (housemates) and i think they were close to dissowning me! i danced solidly for 1and a half hours, it was so much better than a work out at the gym! it was at the Mean Fiddler, just off Tottenham Court Road and was a really good venue, really liked it. Not really got much more to say, but i knew the gig would be good cos-1. it was reel big fish and 2. they started off with 'dateless losers'! my favourite song! Rarrrrr! Im aching so much now, really sore, every step i took afterward hurt but it was worth it! woot woot! EVERYBODY'S DOING THE FISH!! i was pretty impressed with this photo from my mobile! not bad eh?! what a good start to the bank holiday weekend! :-) one last thing, heres the thing youve all been waiting for...........................a picture of my desk!!!!!!!! MY FUNKY CANDLES had a really nice birthday yesterday. went into work and got some lovely flowers from jane, then realised i didnt have a vase so went into hammersmith at lunch with some birthday money and got a vase! (good job i did cos i then got 2 more bunches of flowers later on!). finsihed work and went into the city in my wonder woman boots! got so many funny looks it was brill! i was trying so hard not to laugh as i walked along watching peoples reactions! theyre worse than they were in lufbra! people actually stop to point, stare and laugh!! met up with emhen (plus balloon!) and i went to tatty devine to pick my name necklace. woot woot! gotta wait 7/10days tho! noooo! its my birthday! woot woot! :-) hehe. had a really lovely weekend with michelle. she came on friday night (just in time for the big brother final!!) so naturally we did nothing that night except being glued to the tv to see who won! its so sad, i keep going to the tv at 9/10pm each night to watch big bro then realise it aint on! *sniff!!* hehe. ive finally got a life in the evenings! yay! i can go out and not be glued to the tv! saturday - we went to camden market for a nosey. i got chatting to a very cute goth/rocker guy with make up, peircings, the works! he was lovely! ;-) managed to get some well nice platform trainers too! they were on sale, i had to! we spent ages there wandering round. i love going there its got such a great atmosphere. we came back to the house and got ready to go out. we decided to go out in putney cos we werent sure where else to go so wandered down the high street. it was really good fun! we ended up in walkabout. the dancing was erm...

Im making button cards at work today. Its like when I used to go round to aunty joan’s house (not really my aunty just friend o’family!! ;-)) and I used to sit on her floor with all these buttons everywhere and sort them! Had a really nice weekend with mum and dad. They came up on Saturday and left on Sunday. On sat we went to see Les Mis and it was magic! So so so good, id recommend it to anyone who hasn’t seen it. The whole thing was brill. I only cried once, I chewed chewing gum for the rest of the time (it stops me crying! Don’t ask how but it does!) soppy cow! Well im back in the country :-S India was amazing and as soon as I was sitting in a black and yellow taxi (no rikshaws in Mumbai) I felt relaxed and at home (sounds cheesy I know!) not too sure how I could feel relaxed whizzing through the Indian streets but hey! I did! When we got to heathrow before we went for the security check jane and I were pulled over to have a full body scan thingy. Before they could do it tho they had to check I was over 16!! Ok I can understand 18 for drinking, but 16! Come on!! Surely I don’t look that young?!
