the happy little world of miss ktp!

well ive been here a week now and i feel like im settling in well. ive managed to keep my room tidy too which is a miracle! im quite impressed, even did the hoovering today and ive done the washing up everyday! wow!.....................ill just leave a minute for the people who have lived with me to get up off the floor and sit back down of the chairs theyve just fallen off with the shock!!.....................ok? right ill carry on! ive also joined the gym at the local leisure centre so we'll see how long that lasts, hopefully if i get it in my routine now ill keep going but we'll see! my flatmates seem really nice and weve been out a few nights this week and im off out again tonight. Just gotta find a place that does some ale and not just lager!! works going well, really liking it and it looks like it could be exactly what i wanted to do! :-) im off to india with them on tues till sunday so itll be really nice to be back in the country! shame its not bangalore but h...

well i started work today! it was really surreal when i sat back on the train to work and thought about the fact that this is it now, no temping or anything, this is my life! no lufbra uni to go back to. it didnt make me sad it was just quite exciting! im gonna miss all my uni mates loads and i have been, but once i get into a routine ill be better and feel much happier about everything. ive not been as homesick as i thought id be either. i think cos after being in india, being a couple of hours away from home and all my mates, its nothing!! it sounds so sad but i was dead excited to have my own desk and file and computer and pens and......you get the picture!! i also got my visa back, my insurance sorted and my flight confirmed for india! yaya! :-) went out tonight as well with 2 of my flatmates cath and krysha for one of their mates birthdays. it was so nice to get out of the flat for an evening. i met lots of randoms who im sure ill meet again next time i go out! cat...

well im here, in my new pad! everything miraculously fitted in, goodness knows how!! the rooms nice and colourful now so finally has my mark on it. had a lovely day moving in cos mum and dad helped so it was fun and good for them to give the seal of approval on the flat! its dead quiet tho! noones in the flat this evening so im chillaxing in the lounge chatting to people on msn. not really got much to say but thought id drop a line from my new sofa! looking forward to having been here a few days so that i dont feel like im in a hotel and it feels like my house too! ciao xx

well today was my big graduation day. i wasnt really sure what to expect but it was a really nice morning. it was so hot, especially in a gown and hood but thankfully the ceremony didnt take too long so we werent stuck in a stuffy sports hall for too long. its been sooo hot recently, it was about 32degreesC today. *phew!* ME WITH MY 2:1 CERTIFICATE ME AT ONE WITH NATURE! thankfully we arrived early this morning so that we could get all the photos done before everyone else did and before we got too hot and sweaty! mmm attractive! INDIA GIRLIES PROUD PARENTS! im pretty tired but just wanted to say I'VE FOUND A HOUSE!!! :-) i found it 2 weekends ago in putney and got the keys last sunday. Its a flat by Putney heath and ill be living with 2 australian girls and 1 girl from new zealand. im moving in next sat/sun and start work on the 25th! im really looking forward to both, especially the money making side of things! ive spent the last 4 days in london with rfa which was cool. we chillaxed most of the time but the main reason was to sort out my flat. we got lots of things done including the sightseeing bus, the tate modern (well i used the loos in there!), the V&A - saw some amazing stuff, especially a huge roman colum from a building i think, it was huge! I know this is really odd for me but i actually took NO photos! crazy or what?! we also saw 2 shows, we saw the mousetrap (ace apart from some of the wooden actors! :-S) and then the producers which was ace too! really funny, definately go and see the both of them, they b...

well its finally here, this weekend im off to try and find a houseshare in Putney! fingers crossed ill find somewhere, ill keep ya posted and hopefully therell be room for y'all to stay over (not all at the same time obviously but maybe a few at a time!). ive got 8 to look at so hopefully ill find one out of that lot! i keep coming across really nice friendly guys in carparks at the mo, its happened twice this week, where a guy has seen me drive into a carpark then given me his ticket thats got a good few hours left on it so i dont need to buy one! good aint it! rfa and rikster were a bit annoyed tho when it happend last weekend, 'it woulnt have happened to us cos we're guys' they grumbled!! had a really nice weekend last weekend cos rfa, anna and rikster came over to use the hottub and chillax. we had a rotten indian from barwell, but hey, the beer and pims (not together) washed it all down nicely! we also went for a really hot walk in bradgate park on the su...
