the happy little world of miss ktp!

had an............adventurous night last night! rfa, slink and i went to see reel big fish at warwick uni in coventry. the gig was amazing, as usual! they are so cool, everyone should see them at least once! they had about 3 support acts and they werent too bad actually, one group really reminded us of bill and ted! hehe, they were trying so hard to be cool! rbf came on about 10:30pm but scott (one of the main guys) wasnt there cos he was ill :-( they werent as good as when i saw them in cambridge but were still worth it! the other problem with the gig was that it was for over 14's only, there were so many kids! we all felt very old! it was funny though watching them all 'moshing' to their best attempts! i had one particularly smelly BOY infront of me, he really needed introducing to deodorant!! hehe! on the way back to drop slink off, rfas car broke down -again! we broke down just off the m42 at 12:30am and the AA eventually came at 2am, it was sooo cold in th...

SUPER NOODLES!!!!! they are ace! perfect for all occasions! ive not eaten any solid food for three days (its all self inflicted, ive just had my tonue pierced!), and as i was moping around the kitchen looking for something to drink thats not water, squash or slim fast and figured that if i let the noodles cool down and i over-cook them into more of a mush they are perfect!! i take my hat off to the guy who invented super noodles, they are saving me now and they saved me while i was in india when i needed to cook something for dinner and there they were! they taste good and idiots who cant cook like me can make them which is a bonus too! yeah and the major thing i sort of brushed over in the above paragraph is that ive had my tongue pierced!! ive always wanted it done and on saturday i finally plucked up the courage (with rfa and mattays help) and got it done! didnt hurt too much either. its very peaceful in the house too cos i cant talk much. maybe this silence will result ...

had a well good but quite expensive night last night. rfa and i went into nottingham to see elbow. went to lufbra station to get a train and i found out that rfa actually has some pet peeves!!! at last! knew he'd have some somewhere! hehe. they were nothing really exciting but they were all to do with how people rush for tains and moan, etc! we got in bout 6pm and went for a quick drink at the pit & pendulum, i love that pub! looks so cool, although it did scare me alot when first went in there and i had to go behind a bookcase to find the toilets!!! had an envy cocktail (cheers slink for introducing them to me!) and rfa had a.......yup you guessed it, a guinness!! we had dinner at wagamamas, a japanese noodle place, had a bottle of wine (we were trying to be posh!). it was realy nice but the food was too filling! we arrived at rock city about 8pm and the support act liam frost and the slowdown family were playing. they were really good actually and we managed to be ...

argh! another valentines day alone! as usual! spent the day in london doing research (and of course a bit of shopping in topshop! didnt get anything tho! :-( ). loads of people were walking around with huge bunches of flowers, holding hands. yuck! sorry its taken so long to blog! ive been busy(ish) and also not really done anything very exciting!!! friday night slink and sook both came to lufbra to visit which was ace! niall came later on too. we started off with a good old dominos and then moved onto the orange tree and newshouse for a few drinky-poos before rock night at echos. ROCK ON!!!! it was ok in echos, it seemed a bit quieter than last time and i didnt know as many songs also it was flipping freezing in the white room! i kept my gloves on all night! A dilemma for Females: You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have. The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire. Both of you have forgotten your purses. It would be totally rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes. The shop assistant remains at the till waiting. Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma. She prepares to throw her purse to you. If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper and buy the shoes. At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and, *whilst it is in flight* you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes. yesterday i celebrated one of my last few days of freedom before my final project begins by going to waterworld in stoke. its the uks no.1 indoor tropical water park apparently (the theme tune drilled it into me!). i went with rfa and matt-ay it was ace! some of the flumes scared me, i went on most of them but that wasnt without being pushed onto them in the first place!!! one ride was called the space bowl - i was a short flume ride into a huge bowl that you span round before being dropped into a pool of water! it was........interesting! it was a bit scary and then once id found the ladder to get out i couldnt climb down it cos i was too scared!! hehe. not sure why i got so worried, i love alton towers and all the scary rides to bits! add water and i turn into a right wimp! we ended up staying there for about 2/3hours and had a wicked time, it went well fast! unfortunately the hottubs werent on so we couldnt relax in there, if they had been on we'd probably have stayed...
