wow! wow wow wow wow wow! tenacious d came and they rocked their socks off and left again! that was one of the bestest gigs i ve been to! they were mucking fagic!! it was such a funny gig. it all started off with them jamming in kyles living room then they got electrocuted and were sent straight to hell! they did all their songs from their old album as well as the newer songs plus covering flash gordon and linking it to wonder boy, then in the eoncore they did their well known ruder song (cant type it the parents read this!!) followed by tribtue (woot woot) then pinball wizard from tommy!! how cool?! jack black brought out his saxaboom too which was a previlage to witness! haha. it was at the hammersmith apollo and we (arf and me) were in the circle near the back, thankfully everyone stayed sitting down so we could all see what was going on. their backing group was aweseome too. Im off to see tenacious d tonight and im so stupidly excited! I don’t know why! Hehe. Its almost at the steps stage of excitement I would have been 6 years ago! I think it’s a mix of a gig ive been waiting for for aages, its chrimbo, ive got a day off 2moz and arf’s coming to the gig with me and I finish work on fri! Im all giddy! Its also prob the amount of crap and sugar ive eaten recently running up to chrimbo! Yoink! Had a lovely weekend with michelle. Especially when we went for a cocktail at Henrys on Covent Garden (see pic below)! I love that place! Was cool to catch up with her and have a good old giggle!! I was all excited the other day cos I got some mistletoe! Ive never had any before! It hasn’t made my chrimbo any more exciting yet tho! Doh! Theres still time I guess! Hehe. Its really weird at the mo cos it doesn’t seem like Christmas. I went out to the tnt party last night and I was walking through the streets without my coat on. Its really mild and doesn’t feel like December at all. Im quite disappointed! I want a cold Christmas when I can wrap up warm in big coats and hats! Doesn’t look like its going to be a white chrimbo that’s for sure. The jewler in Leicester is safe for another year!! Me & krysha @ brogans last night. I was quite impressed cos i stitched on the furry trim on my top! Gettin into the chrimbo spirit good & proper! It was a really good night actually & it was nice being out with my housemates. One thing thats annoyed me tho is the fact that i didnt feel drunk last night but im really suffering today! Isn’t it weird the way smells can take you straight back to a memory? It just takes one whiff! I used some Tres Semme shampoo today cos I’d run out of my usual one and now every time I move my head and smell my hair it takes me straight back to my bommasandra days! When I smell it I can picture our grubby little shower room and expect to hear the paper boy and the veg woman shouting, all in the sunshine and ‘sister’ washing our dishes in cold water with the same rag she just washed the floor with (!!) but then I look up and im sitting in the office, at my desk, with scissor sistors on the radio for the 100000th today and its only 9:25am and its just grey and miserable outside. Think I’ll smell my hair one more time……..! xx

wow its taken ages for me to write on here sorry! last weekend i went to oxford to visit arf (rfa is so last season apparently!!) and to see gomez. hence the photos in the last two posts! it was such a good gig really good music and atmosphere, i went with arf, steph and jane. i think the quote of the night was from steph who refused a glass of coke from the bar cos she said she had work the next day. she said all this while holding a double vodka and lemonade in one hand and a lager in the other!! hmm hehe. i only knew two songs but it was so worth it! gets my thumbs up! not really been up to much more during the week but this weekend sarah, cath, some more of cath's mates and i went to leeds castle in kent and on a wine tasting tour. it was a really good way to spend a saturday! leeds castle was lovely, really nice and the wine was good too! we got to taste some expensive champers as well as other wines with some scrummy cheeses so that was good fun! today cath and...

Does this face look like it would ever punch anyone? Well, Ive got news for you! This little angelic creature, butter wouldnt melt & all that went to kickboxing tonight! I knew it was going to be interesting when i had to ask the instructor how to punch cos id never punched anything before! I then realised problem number 2 was that i didnt have my glasses on so couldnt see what i was punching anyway! Finally i put boxing gloves on (can you imagine?!) & had to dance around while trying to punch & kick people who had alot more padding on than me as well as trying to defend myself from them! I realised i was a bit too smiley & chatty for fighting too, the instructor asked me if i did anything else but giggle?! Er not when im faced with boxing gloves no! It was a good laugh! But i ache alot now! Better watch out next time you meet me, im dangerous! Grr! Xxxx

Had a really good night last night. I applied for tickets to see never mind the buzzcocks at bbc tv centre & got them! :-) Everyone else was busy so i ended up going on my own but never mind it was still good fun! The doors opened at 6pm & id been told to be there about 5pm. I got there a bit earlier, like 4.30! So at least i was at the front of the line!

Where i was sitting. It was the 2nd row from the front which was ace untill i they started filming & the camerawoman stood right infront of me! Doh! I wud have had an ace seat but the people who were behind me in the que pushed infront & i ended up here! Grr!

Not sure how clear this photo is but hey! With Bill Bailey it was Kelli Young (from libertyX) & John Barrowman (from torchwood, the dr who for adults) & on Phils team it was Robin Ince (random comedian who i recognised but not sure what for!) & Daniel Bedingfield (need i say more?! Woot Woot! Hehe). The presenter Simon Amstel was good too, not as good as Mark Lamar but i think he will be soon! He wasnt great at reading the auto cue tho, he took 3 or 4 takes each time! Was dead funny though! It was really tiring being in the audience for the show cos you had to be enthusiastic & laugh & cheer all the time, not that it wasnt funny & it was a chore, you just get worn out after a while! Especially when they are filming for almost 2hours & in the end theyll only use 30min of it! Think the episode is on in the next few weeks. It'll be interesting to see whats kept in & edited out. Ill definately be applying for more tickets to shows. It was free &...

I was quite impressed with this bag! I got to work on friday &ealised i didnt have a bag to go out with so i got a magazine that had one free. I then realised it was really cheap & ming (!) so i searched through my bag & found some random things in there to sew onto it & the photo above is what i managed to do on the train to lufbra! I was quite proud of it! :-) One thing Ive noticed this year is the lack of poppies on peoples coats. I think thats really sad that people arent buying them & wearing them very much now. Ive always worn one & i will usually buy about 3 a year cos ill buy the first one so early thatll ill loose it & the same with the next one! Hopeless! At least Ive made up for 2 other people that didnt buy one this year! Xxx

Yes i did go back to lufbra this weekend again! It was sam's birthday & lufbra fair so couldnt turn it down! On fri night anna, rik & i went out & this was the main reason of going to fnd not rock night this time. Screech from saved by the bell was at the union! Random but unnissable seeing how many mornings of my summer hols were spent watching that classic show! Hehe!

Here we are on the dancefloor in room1. Had a really nice wkend & went out to wild last night! It definately wins over 'chos & rain now! They did a good mix of cheese & dancy stuff as well as the new chart things so we were all happy! There were far to many dodgy guys there tho! Went to the fair on saturday during the day which was fun tho i was pretty gutted the crazy shake had gone & the guy spinning us on the waltzers was rubbish! But hey cant win 'em all! i cant believe it! im dead impressed! just decided to try to sending my photos directly from my phone to my blog and as you can see below it works! wow! no need to plug anything in, it just works by magic!!! all the little faries help to pass the picture thru the ether on the screen! as you can see from the photos below i went to lufbra for the firework show last saturday it was brill as usual! of course i dragged rfa and mattay onto the waltzers and was doing my usual 'lean!' 'lean!' if youve been on a waltzer youll know what i mean! thanks dad for teaching me that! they go much faster! :P i decided to go home last weekend, not just to lufbra. i only spent a bit there for the firewor and that evening, for the rest of the time i was spending some quality time with mum and dad and it was really nice and relaxed. looking forward to more of that during chrimbo! espcially home cooking and the hottub! i miss them too of course!! ;) hehe. not really done...

just found a really good pub/venue in putney: http://www.halfmoon.co.uk/ found it through myspace and i went along last monday to one of their acoustic nights. its really good, each person only plays one song so you get a wide variety of people and music. i only stayed for about an hour but it seemed quite popular, hopefully ill get to meet some more people through this night and venue. fingers crossed! they have live music 7days a week. its been going since the 1960s and people like the rolling stones, u2 and the who have played there. and here i was moaning that theres no live music places in putney! yoink! xx

just thought id leave a little note to say yes i am still alive and loving being back in india!! (incase anyone didnt know im back here on business!!). im writing this in bangalore while i wait to go out to cosmo with seamus! cant believe im back. its only till monday morning but its gonna be blimmin' good!! :D works going well. been really busy and in the office till about 7:30pm each night but its still fun and everyone in the office is really nice. my hotels great, not the oberio this time but the shalimar i like it so much more tho, its not as poncy and is smaller! its really horribly hot and humid in mumbai thankfully almost everything is airconditioned. sorry this is so bitty but got lots to say so will write more once im back probably, if i can be bothered!! ;) take care and ttfn xxxx

right well why have you made them minging? they're new advert goes on about them now containing no artificial colours. for a start theres no blue ones which made me angry!! they're my favourite colour, (sad i know but it matters to me!). i then tipped the rest onto my desk and they're all dull colours. they actually taste different. not as smartie like as they once did (the orange still taste different from the rest of the packet tho, why is that?!) also whats with the new packaging? wheres the plastic lid with the letter on? i want to be on a mission to spell my name again but alas i can no longer do that! i used to rip open the tube at the end and use it as a telescope (ok that was when i was very young honnest)!! bring back the E numbers!! grr! x

just come back from a really nice weekend in lufbra. it was so weird being back and seeing everyone living together in lufbra and me not living there any more. not sure i liked it! feel like im missing out on all the fun. london's great but it'll never be AKs 127 (if you get my drift!) thursday evening i met up with dave and we went to see motion city soundtrack. the gig was pretty cool and to make it even better okgo were supporting them (check out their music video involving treadmills on my myspace!). i couldnt believe how expensive the drinks at the astoria were tho. i ordered a southern comfort and coke and a lager and it came to £9.80! shocking! SCARY RFA! friday i had a day off and went to lufbra in the afternoon. all the regulars were there plus quite a few randoms! we eventually ended up going out about 11pm and headed to rocknight at 'chos. trouble was that it was freshers week and so the metal/ska/punk room had been turned into a dance room - grrr! so we sat in...

well ive had the best 5 days! after work on friday i went straight to waterloo to meet nat nat and we hopped on the train to lille for the weekend. Fan and Srinath were with Fan's parents in Lille and we had a little reunion. well, i say little, we arrived at her hosue and there were people EVERYHWERE! it was one of the biggest houseparties ive been to, as well as lots of french people nat and i met up with emhen, fan, srinath, geraldine, cess, cess' boyfriend, robin and robin's daughter! (im so so sorry if ive forgotten anyone, i think thats it!! :S) We stayed up till about 3am dancing, drinking and socialising, just like being back in banaglore! we had relaxing days on saturday and sunday and went into lille as well as chillaxing in the garden and around the house. We had so much good food too, all from fan's parents. it was ace! on sunday i left about 3pm and set off for paris. i met up with sanjay and had dinner as well as few beers sitting at one fo the cafes ...

couldnt believe it the other day! got up ready for the gym at 6am and was all ready and raring to go. that was, until, i realised i'd lost my glasses. i then spent a full hour looking for them and of course missed the gym. grr! (they ended up being in the wash basket! i mean, of course why did i look there first?!). i was then really hungry and did a big bowl of weetabix and crunchy nut cornflakes (i dont usually eat this much but wanted it today!) got it all ready and had no milk! i also had no bread for some toast either so ended up with a sausgae roll from greggs, could have been great but it was pretty cold! finally, as i was stepping out the front door i trod on my headphones and the case popped off the actual headphone bit. ive bodged it back together so its still working but who knows how long for?! think i should just go back to bed before anything else happens! :S rarr! xx

this will be the last mention of my birthday i promise!! i got my birthday present from mum and dad on friday. its a name necklace from tatty devine! ive wanted one for ages and finally got it! im so happy with it! :-) not taken it off yet! spent the weekend in oxford with rfa and it was really nice to see him again and natter away. we chillaxed at the house and went into oxford mainly. yesterday his family did a car boot and then rfa and i went for a really nice walk just next to his house through fields and by the canals. it was a nice change from london! makes me appreciate the countryside more! it was lovely spending time with a proper mate as well. its really nice when any of my mates either come to visit or i visit them cos noone in london will replace them. aww! hehe :-) today im sitting in my bed cos im not well. my first sickie! jane passed on this crappy, minging cold so im sitting here feeling sorry for myself at the mo! *sniff* xx

went home this weekend for the bankholiday. it was the flower festival at church so popped along to see everyone and to have a nosey at the flowers. it was looking really nice as usual! it was lovely going home for the sat, sun, mon cos it was mum, dad and aunty beryl and it had felt like ages since id seen them and been at home. uncle colin and aunty sue came over on the saturday night and we had a swinging time! it was really good fun. had a chinese and hottub evening (oh how i needed that hottub after reel big fish! i was still aching so so much!). they got me a fluffly pink pen for my bday, to everyone else its as garish as it sounds but i think its pretty cool! hehe. not tried taking it into a meeting yet, maybe wont either!! we'll see!
