rfa managed to capture this image of the very rare 'ktp' she was seen at bradgate park with a camera fixed to her face and also being 'beaten up' by a mr swarbrick. no need for alarm though apparently she deserved it! chuh!

seeing as its been so long since i posted, you'd think ive been busy well you'd be....wrong! ive not really been into the studio much, ive not got much inspiration for this project. the heading is 'off the beaten track.' its a bit lame and so thats why i went to bradgate park on wednesday to try to get some good photos. rfa drove me there and we were only supposed to be there for about an hour, 2hours later we left with lots of photos and bruises. we were playing a stupid game where if u get the other person to look at a circle uve made with ur fingers (see below) u can punch that person. well i was pretty crap at the game and so paid for it with 2 very sore arms! chuh! thatll learn me i guess!

went to hey ewe last wednesday at the union, i wasnt going to go out but i was 'forced' to go (yeah whatever!). it was really good fun actually, even better cos i didnt have my wallet with me so didnt pay for anything! id popped along to a house party to say hi and was then gonna go straight back home, but no, i ended up in the que to the union! ah well! hehe. i left quite early actually cos it was a foam party and i didnt fancy getting all wet and cold and falling over everywhere! especially seeing as i was in jeans and they would have stayed wet for ages, still, would have saved me doing my laundry for the week! last night em, nat, becca and i went to a pub opening. it was so posh, champagne everywhere and for food we had oysters, sushi, caviar, slamon etc! just like being back at leela! hehe. dont think weve got the student thing quite right yet but never mind! although we were a bit gutted when we saw that the food wasnt peanuts, crisps and cocktail sausages!!! we left that early too cos we were all still tired from hey ewe but apparently the leicester city football team were on their way and so were the tigers rugby group. doh! i think im still on indian timing for going out, i expect everything to close at 11:30 and when it doesnt im too tired to carry on! such a slacker!!!
im being very healthy at the mo, well trying. ive got my bike with me this year at uni and have actually been riding it, im quite impressed! just been for a little ride today (it was either that or do something towards my dissertation! hmm i wonder!)
not really got anything more planned for the next few nights, i need some sleep at some point but ah i get a 2 day weekend once more! yaya! hehe. ttfn

Ladies what #ldnlunch

After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! I arrived expecting to be early but there were already lots of people sitting down for drinks & food so I grabbed a drink & perched on a pooffe. I just ordered a bowl of chips (how adventurous!) but I did pick off the plates around me (yoink! Thanks Lois! ). Londoners pt1

For Chrimbo Adam gave me a book called "Londoners. The days & nights of London now - as told by those who love it, hate it, live it, left it & long for it" by Craig Taylor. After reading the introduction & before reading any more I decided I'd think about what London & being a Londoner means to me. Even though I picked out bullet points I still got a bit carried away so I'll spread it over a few posts so here goes part 1, I'll start with the one thing that I think of straight away when someone says London to me: ~ the tube is a huge part of London life. It's about sitting on a train for an hour & not knowing what any one's face looks like only their shoes, panic attacks when the train gets stuck in a tunnel without explanation, keeping left, standing on the right spot on a platform so you'll be in front of the doors when they open & also so when you get off you'll be at the exit to the station - even if that exit says no ent

Happy 30th Adam!

Wow what an eventful weekend! Friday was Adam's 30th so we both took the day off work to celebrate together. After sleeping in till 10am Adam finally woke me up asking when I was going to emerge & celebrate his birthday with him - Yoink! So much for the breakfast in bed I had planned. We started the day off as all birthdays should be celebrated - with a trip to Asda! After getting the boring chores out the way we headed to Winter Wonderland (via the Barber) for our annual wander around with a mulled wine in one hand & a Bratwurst in the other all polished off with a pretzel. We stopped off at the Carousel bar to watch the world go by (literally! The whole bar rotates really slowly) & have another mulled wine while putting the world to rights before heading off for dinner in Hammersmith.
