Walking in a winter wonderland!
Woke up this morning to snow! :-) its great! I love it when it snows, everything looks so different. Its been ages since i saw snow & it settled as well as this. On the way to work lots of people kept stopping to take photos on their phones so i thought id join in, just to look cool of course! :-P Hehe. Oh & to keep y'all informed of course!
Thought this one looked a bit like narnia! Was almost expecting to see mr tumnas walking along the river but all i saw was the caretaker sweeping away the snow! It was great this morning cos cath my housemate had never seen snow so i banged on her door this morning telling her to look outside. She was so happy & excited! She got ready extra quick so she could spend some time out there on her way to work! At last someone who gets more excited than me when it snows! Hehe. Xxx
they may look innocent and help to keep you dry but i think theres another motive behind them.........
there should be health warnings on umbrellas ive decided! they can be used as leathal weapons i tell ya! it doesnt just become a problem when its raining and you have to sheild you eyes from the spokes, even when its dry your not safe from these menaces! people need to be taught to walk in crowded areas with umbrellas. the main culprits are the city men in suits with breifcases (think steede from the avengers!) they walk along merrily swinging this mini javelin as they go not worrying about who or what they spear along the way! chuh!! there've been a number of times ive been caught behind a guy whos oblivious! they even have a metal point coming out of them, who knows that the manufacturers are thinking!! at least my steps one had a rounded end so you couldnt hurt yourself or anyone else around you! :P i think they should be banned! everyone should have to wear those plastic hats thats old women wear to protect their perms! who's with me on this one?! xx
ktp update newsflash!
well ive been off work sick the past 3 days so thought i better update my blog finally with something interesting. well maybe i wont achieve that in your eyes but it'll have been interesting to me!! hehe. also itll pass some time! this is in brief what ive been doing: i went to see spamalot (the monty python musical) the other week at the palace theatre and it was ace! so so funny! i had a brilliant night out. it was based on the holy grail but had enough twists to make it a bit different. its definately worth seeing! thumbs up! :D at the end of last week work took me to florence. it was brilliant. i got so much inspiration out of it both from looking at the shops and also the trade fair pitti uomo. florence was great too. such a nice place. ill post some photos later. my jobs great! hehe. :D definately beats being a student! and............. and..................... i know i thought i had alot to say on my blog but i really cant think of any right now!...

Happy chrimbo, new year, etc!
Well hope everyone had a lovely time & santa was good to you. Im writing these entries in the car on the way back to london. I dont really feel like Ive had a holiday, i feel as tired as i did when i came home in dec! Cant believe lufbra get a month off this year too! Chuh. Students! Such slackers! :-P Ive had a really nice time seeing mum & dad & alot of my mates. Chrimbo was fairly quiet but nice. Had the family over & stuff. Went to oxford to see arf for his bday which was nice. Didnt make as much of a spectacle as i did last year thankfully! :-S mum dad & i went to london to the menier chocolate factory to see little shop of horrors. It was amazing! Such a good version & the plants leaves stretched into the audience & everything! Zoe Wannamaker was in the audience which was cool & the cast had one of the guys from seinfeld, fraiser & whos line is it anyway & a girl from a few things on tv like two pints of larger & a packet of crisps...
New years eve? A night out? In hinckley? Can only be one place, flares! Had a good old boogie on down to all the classics. No free tiaras or air guitars this year but got party poppers & confetti canons, almost as good! I was out with michelle, keira & maria. It was really good fun cos i met up with quite a few people from my old junior school & high school! Was nice to catch up with them. Hinckley was actually quite peaceful. Didnt see one scrap! Everyone was pleasant & out for a good time! Couldnt believe i was in the same town!
