had THE BEST weekend last week. Slink, Niall, Matt-ay, Becky, rfa and I all went to rock night in Echos! Yes i actually got slink and niall in 'chos! hehe. it was for a textiles social for our degree show fund but not many people turned up, its not really their thing (they prefer fnd i think! :-S) started off at lloyds for a few warm up drinks and also it was so flipping cold outside that we needed a stop off on the way to warm up before ending up in echos! played a few drinking games and then moved on. it was really dead when we got to 'chos and to make matters worse, the white room was closed (they play all the punk, ska and metal in there) so we stood around with franz ferdinand and the killers for a bit and then after about an hour they opened up the other room (thankfully!). we requested system and had a good old jump around to that! Bumped into Damith and his 'crew' so it ended up being quite a big group of us! we moved into the main room at 2:30am for the last few songs and of course they played nelly the elephant! i wouldnt leave untill that had been on! hehe! it was so much fun! Left about 3am and stopped off at marios for cheesy chips on the way home! mmm!

Woke up about 2pm on saturday! i managed to get out of bed, crawl downstairs and collapse on the sofa with my quilt and pillows! Rfa did the same on the other sofa! i think im getting a bit old for rock night-i had such a sore back after all the exercise!! i didnt move until about 4pm when i had a shower, got dressed and then crawled back into my nest on the sofa! matt-ay and becky came over and we had a chinese and a good old giggle! sunday i got up at 9am put the tv on downstairs while i was getting some breakfast and then realised that there was good stuff on tv all day up untill 10pm! so i got my quilt down again and resumed position on the sofa! this time though i had rfas laptop so that i could do my dissertation at the same time as watching tv! it was so nice being as snug as a bug in a rug while it was freezing outside!
STUDENTS ARE LAZY?! NEVER!
Thats about it for now, need to get back to my dissertation. argh so much to do just cant make myself actually do it!! :-S

Ladies what #ldnlunch

After a few deep breaths I plucked up the courage to walk into the Jetlag bar in Fitzrovia & meet some fellow blogging lovelies. I'd first heard about Ldnlunch On Eloise's blog . I'd always wanted to go to a blogger meet so I put my name down straight away. I was a bit nervous when I realised there were about 40 other girls going who's blogs were mainly about fashion, whereas mine is just random ramblings from inside my brain box but decided I'd still go seeing as I had nothing to lose! I arrived expecting to be early but there were already lots of people sitting down for drinks & food so I grabbed a drink & perched on a pooffe. I just ordered a bowl of chips (how adventurous!) but I did pick off the plates around me (yoink! Thanks Lois! ). Londoners pt1

For Chrimbo Adam gave me a book called "Londoners. The days & nights of London now - as told by those who love it, hate it, live it, left it & long for it" by Craig Taylor. After reading the introduction & before reading any more I decided I'd think about what London & being a Londoner means to me. Even though I picked out bullet points I still got a bit carried away so I'll spread it over a few posts so here goes part 1, I'll start with the one thing that I think of straight away when someone says London to me: ~ the tube is a huge part of London life. It's about sitting on a train for an hour & not knowing what any one's face looks like only their shoes, panic attacks when the train gets stuck in a tunnel without explanation, keeping left, standing on the right spot on a platform so you'll be in front of the doors when they open & also so when you get off you'll be at the exit to the station - even if that exit says no ent

Russia Rabble 2018

Wow where did the last 6months go?! So far 2018 has been an ace one... not stopped as usual... but loved it all the same!  At the end of June Adam and I went to Russia with two friends... We went to Moscow and St Petersburg and we loved it. I knew it would be great but it was just so much nicer, friendlier and brighter than expected... check it out! late night flights... early morning landings... Greatest Showman binges (watched it 4 times in total - how amazing is this film?!)... lazy sleep breakfast... sunny morning walks... 40 winks on a park bench (due to 28hours of being awake!)... finally being able to check into our holiday apartment... another 40winks / 2hours kip... supermarket explorations... Bolshoi sightseeing... marvelous metro stations... jazzy shopping centers... twinkly lights everywhere... red square at night...  Day 2... wonderfully magical markets... pug cushion purchases... vodka for lunch...
